My experience started by email, then moved to a phone call, and finally ended in-person at the dealership. I knew exactly which car I wanted when I contacted them and I knew when it was arriving. 1. They did not want to give me an out-the-door price. It took many emails, a phone call, and getting a salesperson to talk to me privately to get the real cost of the car. They kept avoiding the answer and kept asking how much I could afford a month (This is so they could figure out how many add-ons they could get into the price.) 2. When I asked what their fees and add-ons were, they told me how up front they are with customers. BUT, they wouldn't tell me what the fees were, not even the standard legit ones. I'm not joking, I asked three times, and got the run around. (I saved these emails to show friends and laugh about later.) I finally emailed a quote from another dealership as an example of what I thought the car was worth just so I could get them to talk numbers. 3. When I went in to buy the car, the finance person came back and told me the rate he could get me and I asked what the buy rate on the financing was, he just walked away while sighing in exasperation. When I was finally called to his office, he did not tell me the rate. I had to look for it on the paperwork. At this point, I let it go. I was going to pay off the loan immediately anyways. I was sick of the non-stop games and wanted to leave asap. 4. There was one sales guy there who, when I explained that I understood what the game was, was smart enough to talk to me straight. That's the only reason I bought the car. 5. This way of doing business is from management. The sales guys are just doing what they are told, so it's not their fault. And the sales guys' emails are monitored. So, even if they want to be straight with you, they really can't. So are texts. I figured this out when I would get responses that were clearly not from the person I thought I was talking to. How does this place get good reviews? The sales guys are legitimately nice, and I guess a sucker is born every minute. Please, do some research before you buy from this dealership or any other really. Learn how they hide the fees, read your contract, don't let them rush you, get a rate quote before you go in, know what your buy rate is. I will never buy a car from this dealership again. To be fair, I hope to avoid dealerships in general. So what about the good reviews this dealership gets? As I said, the sales guys are nice, and I guess a lot of people don't realize they are getting screwed over. (I am writing this review a long time after buying the car, because I didn't want the sales person I worked with to get in trouble with management.) More

The staff at Courtesy Kia were extremely helpful and nice! The team I dealt with were the most considerate and kindest dealership staff I have ever dealt with. There was no pressure to buy!
