This past Friday, my wife and I found ourselves, once again, at Criswell Honda. Two years ago, Ken Lamb helped set us up with a Honda CR-V. We were so impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, and true customer care, that we were back to upgrade to a bigger car (for our growing family). This time, we were hunting for a used Honda Pilot. Ken was able to find us the perfect vehicle that met our every need. He then walked us over to the finance department, where we had the pleasure of working with Victor Azari. Victor worked diligently (and within our down-payment budget) to find a way to keep our monthly payments as low as possible. He even found a way for us to keep the wrap-around extended Honda coverage. Victor was patient and extremely helpful as we worked through our financing. Our initial contact with Criswell was through the ConsumerReports Car Buying program, and I was immediately impressed by Andy Russo's responsiveness. It certainly helped that Criswell's quote for the 2013 Honda Odyssey was the lowest in the Metro DC area, but Andy sealed the deal for us. There was no pressure to purchase instantly, and he was understanding of the need to get the best price for the Odyssey as well as for the trade-in of our existing car. Although we had been in email discussions with at least five other dealers, and a couple much closer to home offered to match Criswell's price, I felt it important that Andy at Criswell be given the first opportunity to win our business. He was very professional and had detaled knowledge about the many features of the Odyssey. He even sync'ed my wife's phone as part of the test drive process. Andy understood and was able to meet our demands on the trade-in, and the purchase was official. I had put in a request for a price on a trade in. Andy called within the hour and we talked about what the best options for the car I had asked for the price for a trade in. Since it was not driveable and I could probably recieve a better reward for donation I chose to donate the car. Andy sent me an e-mail with his contact information and the next day I sent Andy a text that I would like to come in for a test drive. Andy was not there that day but Andy returned my text and let me know he was sorry not to be there but that it was still okay to do the test drive and someone else would assist us with that. When we arrived at the dealership Yanet Lopez greeted us and took us for a test drive and answered our questions and checked inventory. When we came back the next evening to pick up the car Andy met us and gave us an extraudinary tutorial of the car. He taught my daughter to use the voice commands so that she would not have to take her hands off the wheel and showed us all the safety features. Exceptional tutorial on Andy's part. We closed tke deal and where able to drive the car away that evening it was great service. Andy and explained the protective coating and other optional dealer installed extras and the warranty the finance person I forget the name but he also did a great job explaining the Gap Insurance and the available extended warranty.
