The kia dealer near my house didnt have the model/interior combination I wanted, so I started looking online. That lead me to a dealer in Brooklyn and when I called about a car they were advert model/interior combination I wanted, so I started looking online. That lead me to a dealer in Brooklyn and when I called about a car they were advertising online the woman laughed at me for asking if I could get it for the price listed. So my search continued. Thankfully I found Crowley Kia. I called and left a message on a Sunday and to my suprise Joey in Sales returned my call! I told him the price I saw online, the car I have to trade in, the amount Id like to put down, and where I needed my payments to be. He ran the numbers and called me back and told me it was possible. We set up an apointment for the next day. When I arrived Joey met me at the door and we were off on a test drive in no time! He never tried to upsell me or steer me in the direction of another car I couldn't afford. I got the sense that this is a no-nonse dealership. They are not trying to waste your time and keep you there all day like some others do. I liked the car so we started on the paperwork. This process took a little bit of extra time because I'm in a complicated situation. I live in NJ, Crowley Kia is in CT and I have California ID and insurance... Regadless of the additional hoops they had to jump through to process my sale they never seemed annoyed by my situation which I really appreciated. When I talked to Joe in Finance he never asked me to put down more money than I had orginally disucessed with Joey. He never asked me to make higher payments, and he gave me the trade in amount orginally discussed. I feel like Joey in sales worked a great deal for me and Joe in Finance stood by that deal. I know I was dealing with honest up-front people. Before I left Joey in sales made sure the car was detailed and he even put more gas in the tank for my drive back to NJ. This shows a real commitment to customer service. Now Im in the process of getting registered in NJ and Diane in the office is very friendly in explaining the process post sale which also shows a commitement to customer service. When Im ready to buy again I will go back to Crowley Kia. If you live in the tri-state area just go to Crowley Kia and save yousrself the time, money, haggeling and frustraitions of bait and switch dealers. These people are honest and it was a pleasure doing business there. I couldnt be happier with the entire process! I have the car I want, at the price I can afford! Saw on autotrader a 2007 335xi BMW that I was interested in. I made a call to the number listed late one evening, and instead of leaving a message after hours, my salesperson Joey answered! In need (read WANT) of a new car (read SHINY NEW TOY), I reluctantly set out in search of what I wanted. After 2 weeks of visiting numerous dealerships, I came upon Crowley Kia. I say reluctantly, because as most people know, buying a new car can be a stressful experience. Even more so when you intend on going alone as a single gal. It always feels like a red target is printed on my shirt. That was definitely not the case at Crowley. I expected to drive onto the lot and immediately get tackled like I had been the previous 2 weeks but instead found I was given the chance to walk around the lot a little bit before Joey P approached me and asked if I needed some help. Automatically in defense mode I shoo'ed him away and told him I was just looking.. Expecting to hear a 10 minute spiel, I was pleasantly surprised that he just handed me his card and let me know he would be happy to answer my questions if any arose. I walked around the lot and was really surprised to see a lot of variety in what looked like close to new used cars. I saw a few new Kia's that caught my eye and finally decided I should ask for some help. As I entered the showroom, I came in contact with Ryan, who introduced himself to me as the general manager and he answered a lot of questions for me. I then told him Joey P had approached me outside and wanted to discuss the cars I was eyeing. Joey was great. Answered specific questions, gave me more info on my selections and we were off for a test ride. Not once was I made to feel like I was being pressured to buy.. Not rushed through anything. Ted O and Ted B (sales managers) also offered insight on narrowing down my choice. It was nice to see everyone working together instead of the cut throat experience I had witnessed at other dealerships. It was apparent that these guys not only love their job, but love working together and enjoy making the customer happy and comfortable with their decision. My new optima cost a lot less than I was already willing to hand over, so there was no need for the dreaded price haggle.. They were up front from the start. Being in retail myself, it was nice to not have to deal with that. I am truly grateful for the new toy I now have in my driveway and to the guys at Crowley Kia for putting it there for me. I look forward to popping my head in to say hi to them when I stop in for my first oil change. I even got a glimpse of the famed Ken Crowley himself! Great job guys. Thanks for all you did for me. I had made a three hour trip to another dealer the week before and was extremly upset with how it turned out... lies and games!!!!! So, I was a little worried about making this trip.. I was greeted by my sales associate when I arrived and was introduced to the rest of the team... Everything went as explained during my phone conversations and I drove home in my new Shelby... I work with several people and have a couple of neighbors who happily drive Kias. When I was ready to purchase a new car I shopped around on the internet to price Sorentos. Crowley had the best prices arou who happily drive Kias. When I was ready to purchase a new car I shopped around on the internet to price Sorentos. Crowley had the best prices around so I gave them a try. Ted B, Ted O and Rich were very knowledgeable and friendly. Rich knew every aspect of the Sorento and gave me a lot of helpful information. He gave me his business card and told me I can call him any time with questions. I rated this dealer the way I did because I was treated well, I felt like family and the showroom and lot were immaculate. I will go back to them for service when I need it. More
Crowley Kia was, without a doubt, the best car buying experience imaginable. I received calls from Ryan then Rich the morning after I inquired online about their inventory. Despite it being only 1 day later, I was already in the midst of getting a great deal from another dealership and I had an appointment to test-drive and purchase a 2012 Kia Forte. I told Ryan this and I said that he would have to offer a better deal than the other dealership in order for me to buy from Crowley. Ryan called me back a few minutes later and was able to quote their Forte at a much better price than the other dealership, even though Crowley's Forte was a more expensive model. I had to bring my 8month old son & my 6 yr old daughter with me as my wife was busy. Rich was extremely friendly and even offered to help me carry some of my items. He had already quoted a great price, so there was no need for negotiating, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Ryan gathered my information and at one point, I had to return to my rental car as I forgot my insurance card in the glove box. Ryan told me that he would watch my son until I returned. When I got back, Ryan was talking to my son, and my son was laughing and smiling at Ryan . We filled out all of the paper work and rich was very patient with me as I even had to change my son and tend to my daughter multiple times When i told my wife we returned 2 days later, we went back to Crowley Kia to apply for financing and purchase the vehicle. Ryan was out of the office (he told me this prior), but Ted and Joe was assigned to take his place to complete the purchase. Ted was just as friendly as Ryan and was also very patient with us as we had our 8 month old with us at the dealership. Just like Ryan, Ted and Joe had a very relaxed personality and he was very pleasant to work with. When we started discussing financing, extended warranty, and gap insurance, there was ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE! My wife and I were already approved through our bank; however, Crowley Kia was able to accommodate us with an interest rate that was phenomenal at nearly 4% lower than what our bank approved us for. (No hidden fees and no small print... Crowley Kia plain and simple beat the rate.) When it came to the extended warranty and gap insurance, I declined the extra warranty , got the GAP that covered $6000 from my totaled truck, and their finance department simply respected my decision and moved onto the next item. After all was said and done, I got the car at a price lower than what I thought I could negotiate, at a rate lower than I have ever had, and all with zero-hassle. I left Crowley Kia feeling confident and assured of my purchase. I would highly recommend either of these fine gentleman to anyone looking to purchase a new car. Ryan the General Manager acted more like a salesman who was proud of the product he was selling us and let us know he wanted our business and all of our friends to come see him personally , than some wizard behind A curtain that someone had to o back and forth to get a answer he even gave us his personal cell phone number and told us to call for anything anytime . These guys are the BEST & I HOPE KEN CROWLEY KNOWS IT! I've already sent him a personal letter of my thanks. While working with First Bristol Credit Union to obtain financing on another make/model car, I was cautioned regarding the inflated price I was being charged and it was suggested that I do a more comprehen financing on another make/model car, I was cautioned regarding the inflated price I was being charged and it was suggested that I do a more comprehensive search. I was directed to Kia, and found a car that was almost identical to the other car, but was given a price that was thousands less than the original, with extended warranty, and price well below sticker price. I was treated with respect and it was a very comfortable and surprising experience. I pick up my car today, and am thrilled to have come in contact with the people at Crowley Kia. More
