Zero stars! I find it interesting how many great reviews I see this place has received. My experience is far from that. If I could give this place a ZERO star I find it interesting how many great reviews I see this place has received. My experience is far from that. If I could give this place a ZERO star, I would. Don't let the smiles and "fake" friendly staff fool you. It's a show for your wallet. If you find yourself repeatedly going to get service to fix one thing and turns out your back for something else, I tell you, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! I'm taking the time to write this review because I'm fed up. Where do I begin? It started with check engine light. It gets correct after a $200 fee. I get into my vehicle and to my surprise my A/C quit working. So I turn around and return less than 5 minutes later to ask "what happened here"? Being that I trusted this establishment I again get more service done. I state that I need all things corrected and need this vehicle properly serviced and will have no problem paying to get things corrected. That was a $2300 service job, but I figured I'd be good to go right?!? WRONG! Less than 4 weeks later I have another check engine light and now my A/C is no longer working. Coincidence??? Who was the last to service my AC and check engine code. Crown GMC Buick! Folks, this is a story I can't make up. So now I bring it back thinking I'm going to get VIP treatment, I couldn't even get a loaner while my vehicle wasn't service. Yes there were vehicles available but they had reservations. Funny. After getting another diagnostic done I'm told this job will be in the $2000 range. At this point I'm thinking this vehicle is just a dud. But what I didn't get was how quick they wanted me to put me in something else and use my currently vehicle/dud as a trade in. I received multiple calls all from the same dealer within the last week. Why would anyone want this lemon? Then it begins to make sense. I end up speaking about my experience to my coworkers to find out one of those employees had worked at this dealership to later quit due to poor ethics. He stated that parts that were used were cleaned and polished up to be sold as new. He also stated that once you enter this establishment, you will find yourself going back.... A LOT. I took my vehicle to another establishment. My check engine light led to a replaced sensor($48) and no more check engine light. As for my A/C it was discovered my low pressure port had a loose valve core that was leaking. The valve was tighten and the unit was recharged with Freon. All for under $60. How does $108 fee from one dealer equal to $2000 fee to another dealer??? After learning of the shadiness that exist in this dealership it all made sense. My vehicle was being sabotaged in order to be a returning customer. Sad. Not to worry though, I hope my letter is read by everyone who thinks of going to Crown GMC in St. Petersburg. This will raise your level of doubt to go here at the least or you will kick yourself for getting shafted after reading this warning letter. I will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau. More

There was no push to to have anything extra done. Suggested that I get my wiper blades changed, and nw tires on the front in the near future. More

Once I arrived, it was like I had "special" written all over my face. I was treated with prompt service and even though I had to have the radio replaced, it was done on the spot, back to factory original and that is important on my 30,406 mile vehicle (1994 Pontiac Firebird).... the service was great, but the service provider was greater....Thanks Crown Buick GMC. Although I was early for my appt he immediately wrote up my car and gave me a time of completion. Personnel were professional, friendly, eager and efficient. Car was done and washed within time promised and I was out the door. For someone who generally hates going to dealers because of experience this was a pleasure and I would recommend this dealer and this service department and particularly Bill to anyone. Great experience. More

Great service from Dave at Crown Buick/GMC. Brought my new truck in to have the fluids flushed and changed after 1,000 miles to extend the life of my vehicle. We have been using them for 3 years and we are very satisfied. We decided to buy our next car from them because of their service. Their sales staff is also very good, in particular, Lou Amelio. He spent the time with my wife to really understand what she desired in her new car. The only problem I had was with the sales management. All throughout the process, they did not recall what their previous commitment was and the sales staff had to work very hard to remind them and to solidify a sale-- I would recommend this dealership, but get all commitments from the sales management in writing before you leave. More
