A GREAT car buying experience! I recently had the pleasure of buying a Hyundai Genesis from a gentleman named Johnathan Schroeder at Crown Hyundai in St. Pete. Just to confirm tha I recently had the pleasure of buying a Hyundai Genesis from a gentleman named Johnathan Schroeder at Crown Hyundai in St. Pete. Just to confirm that you didn't miss read this… My buying experience was actually pleasant. Johnathan was very knowledgeable, not just about Hyundais, but about cars in general. I told him what I was looking for, what was important to me and what other cars I was considering. We consulted and ended up on a test drive in the Genesis. I gave him my timeframe for buying, which was not immediate, as there were several other "moving parts" involved. Johnathan stayed in touch with me over the next couple weeks and when the timing was right, we sat down to put the deal together. No pressure, no tag teaming and no managers inserting themselves into a relationship that's already moving in the right direction. Well... since you're reading this, I guess you already know the outcome. I'm now driving my new (Certified Pre-owned) Genesis R-Spec and loving it! Although there were several hiccups during the actual sales process, (my name was misspelled on the loan & registeration, even after Johnathan corrected this during his paper/computer work... typical sales and ops systems not connected at Crown) Johnathan was always there to iron them out. He even drove the corrected paperwork to me in Tampa for my new signature. I've bought dozens of cars in my lifetime (for myself, my mom, my wife and my daughters) and this car purchase will be memorable for an unusual reason… It was actually pleasant! I've already given Johnathan's contact info to several other people. If you're looking for a new car at a fair price and don't want to go through the normally painful process, give Johnathan Schroeder at Crown a call. Thanks buddy !!! More
