Airbag Recall / Replacement Service It took many months from the initial recall letter to completing the replacement. I did all the chasing of making appointments, checking if parts were It took many months from the initial recall letter to completing the replacement. I did all the chasing of making appointments, checking if parts were in, etc.... Never received return calls. Rarely did someone answer the main Crowns Lexus phone number, always took several attempts. When I would get through, the calls would get dropped while on hold. Calling Lexus is very frustrating, seems like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. In May I had made an appointment after I was assured the part was in, only to learn 2 hours after dropping my car off the part was not in. I was assured I would be called when part came in. I finally called back in August and was told no part, but would use one meant for someone come on in the next morning it would take only 20 mins. It took over 2 hours. My confidence level that the part was even replace is very low. Sadly my trust and confidence level with Crown Lexus has diminished over this past year. I have a long history with Crown Lexus and I'm disappointed in the change. People are nice, but the service system is flawed. More

I've called the dealership to ask about it, and the salesman, usually Ahmad Yamak, would say "I have another customer, let me call you back", and then won't. When we did connect, I had questions about the car, which were deflected. I mean... be forthright with me - if you don't want me to buy your car so some reason, just say so. But now I've talked with another salesperson at the Crown dealership as well, Eric. He tried to sell me another car, a more expensive one, but didn't know if the car I was interested in was for sale. I was hoping he could call me back if for no other reason than to clear this up for me. Even now, it's still listed as for sale, a pretty red ES300h. Whatever. I doubt I will be hearing from them again. I've had Lexi for over a decade, but now... An experience like this with a prominent, top-rated Lexus dealership makes me wonder if the Lexus brand itself is going downhill. More
