I've had the privilege now of buying two vehicles from Grady in the past three months. While searching for an SUV my wife met Grady at Crown and for the first time ever, she actually enjoyed talking from Grady in the past three months. When she called me to talk about the 2011 Mercedes GL350 she not only talked about how much she liked the SUV she commented about how much she enjoyed talking with Grady and how helpful he was. I then had the pleasure of meeting Grady myself and immediately appreciated his warm, approachable demeanor. He was focused on what was best for us, listened to our questions and concerns and guided us through the buying process. I've bought more than a dozen cars and have never had such a positive experience in car buying. Grady and the entire Crown staff have been outstanding. Two week later we were in a severe accident and totaled the GL350 we had purchased two weeks earlier. My wife, daugther, and I are proof that Mercedes has exceptional safety equipment and before even looking for a replacement vehicle agreed we'd start our search for a Mercedes and went straight back to Grady and the Crown team. Over the next several weeks they helped us find exactly what we were looking for and we're thrilled to have another Mercedes in our garage and have had the pleasure of working with Grady and the Crown team again. I have previously had a great experience with Crown Mercedes 3 years ago with a new car purchase. My wife, 4 year old daugther, and I visited Crown on a Monday afternoon and were greeted by a truly outstanding sales representative. We were interested in several potential vehicles and he was knowledgeable about each and every one and provided a thorough education to us. He was courteous and kind to my entire family, and even made sure my 4 year old did not run out into traffic while my wife and I were looking at cars on the lot. As we test drove cars he gave us tips and dining advice for an upcoming trip we have to Disney. Although I am very hesitant about trusting anyone who is trying to sell me something, our sales representative, Grady Nance, was genuine and forthright. There was no pressure at all in terms of purchase. One of my concerns was how our infant car seat was going to fit, and I was encouraged to come back with the carseat another day, test drive the car again, and be sure that I was happy before making any purchase decisions. As we finally decided on a vehicle, he had my family comfortable and entertained while we completed the paperwork. In addition, he took the effort to get my wife's car washed while we were there despite the car wash service being closed. When we returned to pick up our newly purchased SUV a few days later, he personally inspected it and chatted with us for awhile about the car's features so that we were completely at ease. I have had the car now for a couple of days and Grady continues to follow-up with me by email to confirm that everything is going well with our new purchase. I will preface this by saying that buying/leasing a new car is one of my least favorite things to do. My basis for this feeling is past experience. I was amazed at how quickly we moved through the process without the "go back and forth" negotiations that I have had to put up with in the past. Prompt isn't even doing Doug justice when we initially exchanged emails. I told him exactly what I wanted and he produced it before I even set foot in the showroom! I was impressed with his knowledge of the car and the time he took to explain all the features to me (and there are a lot of features on a C300). This was by far the best dealer experience I have ever had and I would recommend Doug Horner and Crown to anyone looking for a Mercedes! I have no desire to go anywhere else now. This dealership is outstanding. We have purchased a total of 3 cars from Ken in the last 3 years. We moved to Troy, Michigan from Dublin, OH where the dealership is located but that didn't stop us fro total of 3 cars from Ken in the last 3 years. We moved to Troy, Michigan from Dublin, OH where the dealership is located but that didn't stop us from buying our third car from Ken - a 2013 GLK. I originally called him to help us with a refinance of my 2008 C Class. We walked through the numbers and the interest rate we were paying on my C Class and asked if he could work on some things because he thought he could get us in a newer vehicle, lower monthly payments and much, much better interest rate. We spoke off and on for a couple of weeks. He made sure I gave him my "have haves" and "nice to haves" so that he could order the vehicle from me. He spent a lot of hours with his team to get the vehicle and financing we were looking for. That said, he also worked on the deal while he was on vacation with his family at Disney! In the end, I was able to trade in my 2008 C Class for a brand new 2013 GLK with lower monthly payments and a HUGE interest rate reduction. It's this kind of customer service, loyalty and dedication to their customers that keep us loyal to Mercedes and this dealership. I will drive 4 hours each way for this kind of treatment.
