TLDR ~ *Bring your business elsewhere! !!* Today (8/5/2023), my mother came to this dealership to purchase a vehicle that fit the exact description of what she wanted. She did extensive !!* Today (8/5/2023), my mother came to this dealership to purchase a vehicle that fit the exact description of what she wanted. She did extensive research and decided to come here to purchase her new car. First and foremost, the overall atmosphere within the dealership was seemingly unfriendly/unwelcoming. Before finalizing the purchase of the new vehicle. My mother was BLATANTLY lied to about a certain warranty/Lojack-Xzilon package. An employee at the desk was asked specifically about whether the package was optional and they indicated that the package was MANDATORY in order to purchase the car. Doing so would cost her an additional $5000!!! She made the purchase because she obviously wanted the car. After finalizing the purchase and leaving. She arrived home and we reviewed the paperwork. We did some research on this "Warranty/Lojack-Xzilon" package and found that it is in fact NOT A REQUIREMENT to purchase and it's completely OPTIONAL! Upon figuring that out, we promptly returned to this dealership and disputed the transaction. We reported the individual who outright lied to us and attempted to take advantage of us. They removed the package and we will be getting our hard earned money back this coming Monday. In conclusion, if I could give this dealership no stars I would. I find it absolutely unacceptable that we had to encounter someone with such a sheer lack of integrity all to make more money on a sale. It's deplorable and they should lose their job for it as far as I'm concerned. More
Had an appointment set to look at a vehicle, drove from out of state, and was 15 minutes away when I got a phone call from Zuly that the truck was sold. Don't waste your time or money here. You can really tell that this place has new ownership. These guys are a joke. Quote you one price over the phone and then when you get there magically the price increases. Will never go to this dealership, or any dealership, that is owned by the Leader organization. How that state of Illinois isn’t closing this place amazes me especially since they have over 100 fraud claims filed with the attorney generals office. More
Jenny was the first personal contact I had at the dealer. I have to say that she was phenomenal. She definitely stayed in contact with me. Jenny worked with me on times when I was able to come in and view th I have to say that she was phenomenal. She definitely stayed in contact with me. Jenny worked with me on times when I was able to come in and view the vehicle. She was very informative about the vehicle and answered all of our questions. She was very patient and informative. With that said.Thanks to Jenny for everything . We made the decision to purchase the vehicle. I can’t say enough that she was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend Jenny to anyone who is interested in buying a car from your dealer. More
Had an appointment to go back and look at a Kia in the daylight hours. When first looked at car was in the night. Even though they pulled it into the shop with lights. So I made appointment for that. Was 2 blocks away and received a text that car was loaned out. I’m not sure of the miscommunication there but totally a inconvenience. Doesn’t really look good for the dealership. Plus it’s not like I live around the corner. Sat there for 1/2 hr or more and left with no answer of the car still available for sale. I like the car but not happy with the dealer. They did reach out to me from the internet sales department. I responded back to them that I want to purchase the car. Although my husband thinks that the car is sold or on the 7 day trial return. I hope that is not the case. I hope that they were not lying about the status of the car to us. More
We purchased a truck and paid cash. We were not made aware that this dealership was running a credit check and applying for a Chase Auto loan. We did not give the dealership permission to do this. Very discouraging. When I called the Sales Manager his answer was "we had to protect the house" in case your check didn't clear. I offered several times for them to call our bank to verify funds. They said it was not necessary. I didn't know they applied for a Chase Auto loan until I received a letter in the mail from Chase. I wanted to purchase a vehicle and I live in another state. The salesperson I originally talked with stopped communicating with me. I spoke with a saleswoman and she answered my questions. I was put in touch with a manager to try and discuss the sale price and it seemed the manager was being bothered. He did not seem interested speaking to me or going forward with a sale. I was told that he would call me back in 10 minutes, which never happened. I was willing to put money down to hold the vehicle while the sale price was being worked out and was told that they do not do that, only for test drives. More
