I came into Curry Honda to lease a CRV or an Accord. Realizing these are very different cars, I had a million questions and wanted to test drive multiple options. In my 2003 Honda CRV- my engine light came on. Because I had to work this weekend and needed my car,and didn't feel safe driving, I panicked !!! Called the dealership( that I have been using since 2003) they were no appointments available. Decided to call again and spoke to Jim Ferrara explaining the situation. He made it happen!!! I was able to bring my car in and have it diagnosed and I will be driving to work stress free. More
I went in for my COMPLIMENTARY oil change for my Honda Pilot purchased at Curry Honda. When I arrived I was informed that a tire rotation and Rear differential fluid change was also recommended for my 85 Pilot purchased at Curry Honda. When I arrived I was informed that a tire rotation and Rear differential fluid change was also recommended for my 8500 Mile service (A1 - tire rotation and oil change; NO mention of a differential fluid change). To balance and rotate all four tires and the diff fluid change would have cost me $116+tax......all of a sudden my COMPLIMENTARY oil change just cost me $116+tax. So I declined both services. The owners manual states that the differential fluid change need ONLY be done: "Driving in mountainous areas at very low vehicle speeds or trailer towing results in higher level of mechanical (shear) stress to fluid. This requires differential fluid changes more frequently than recommended by the Maintenance Minder. If you regularly drive your vehicle under these conditions, have the differential fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every 15,000 miles (24,000 km)." I do NEITHER of these. As for the tire rotation, I rotated the tires from front to back in my garage for FREE. I was turned off by such BAIT and CHARGE tactics. Avoid the STEALERSHIP at all costs except for warranty work!!!! More
I brought my 2008 Accord into Curry because the entire car started shaking while rpms would drop very low. VSA, vsa indicator and engine malfunction indicator came on.The car would not drive over 25 car started shaking while rpms would drop very low. VSA, vsa indicator and engine malfunction indicator came on.The car would not drive over 25mph. Curry changed oil, filter, washer drain and did a software update $114.00. Two day slater,same thing happens again: Curry does, valve assembly, actuator vtc, tensioner and replaces solinoid, replace #2 Coil. $1177.00. Problem solved right? Wrong! Fifty miles later while in the north Bronx crossing an intersection, same thing happens again causing an accident. If I was on the highway, I'd be in the hospital or worse. Curry Yorktown does not want to pay for the tow. I pay to have the car they"fixed". brought to them. Now they say it's the number One Coil. I guess Honda only makes cars to last 89,000 miles now. What a disgrace to the Honda Brand this shop is! Avoid this shop at all costs! They do not want to fix your car efficiently. But the fix is in. Time to buy aToyota. More
My experience with Trina Jettelson has been consistently superb ! She takes the time to review my maintenance record with me and makes recommendations that are important. But most importantly, she does so with kindness, without pressure and is always professional. She never tries to "sell" me . Instead, she makes it clear that she has by best interests in mind and wants to ensure that my car will perform optimally. The work done on the car is always top notch - as far as I'm concerned. When I drive away, I do so with a confidence that all that needed to be done was performed with a high degree of competence. Additionally, I have never felt that I was robbed . I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Christos Karahalios & Steve Patrikios at Curry Honda in Yorktown. After having recently been involved in a very serious accident which resulted in my previous vehicle being totaled by a city plow truck, there was some urgency for me in getting into a new vehicle quickly. Added to that stress was the fact that my Wife's lease happened to be up at the same time, meaning we needed TWO vehicles at the same time. After being referred to Curry by a number of satisfied friends, I spoke to Steve Patrikios who worked out some numbers for me and made me feel more than comfortable coming in to see him and talk more. Upon my arrival, Steve introduced me to Christos Karahalios, the salesman that I'd be dealing with. Steve continued to make his presence known and oversee the process, but Christos did a fantastic job of not only providing ALL of the information I could possibly need and truly making the experience exciting and rewarding instead of stressful as it could be. Whether it was providing alternative numbers and prices before I could even ask for them, asking about our lives and using that information to find exactly what type of vehicle/package/configuration we could need, or walking us through the features of our new vehicles step by step upon delivery and taking even more time out of his day than is customary to prepare us (which took away from his chances of getting back inside and getting another sale that day), Christos was an A+++ salesman to work with in an industry that is notorious for having less-than-savory characters in it. I would and WILL recommend him to anyone I know who needs a new vehicle! Thank you! My wife LOVES her new CRV & I love my new Civic EXL. More

I was assisting my Mother in purchasing a used car. Curry Honda is the dealer that we went to first (they ended up being the only dealership that we went to. Our salesman Carlos was outstanding to deal with. Honda is the dealer that we went to first (they ended up being the only dealership that we went to. Our salesman Carlos was outstanding to deal with. He was understanding and patient, giving my Mother all of his attention. He was truly a gentleman, professional, and represented the dealership very well. The only problem we had was with Jeffrey (one of the finance managers), who I found to be very unprofessional. He was reprimanding Carlos over a misunderstanding right in front of us. He almost cost the dealership a sale, as we were preparing to walk out. This is where Ken Orsini stepped in. He listened to our problem, solved it, and had a staff meeting the next morning to make sure that the incident never happened again. We went home to make our decision. We returned the next morning and purchased the car because of the professional, friendly treatment from Ken and Carlos. A big thank you to those two gentlemen. More
