I recently purchased a new Highlander for my wife from a competitive dealer of Darcars. When I picked up my vehicle they had somehow lopt the remotes. After several hours of waiting and 3 trips to the service dept at the dealer in which I bought the car I had the remotes but still was unsuccessful in getting them programmed. I was fed up. On my way home on a Friday eveing I called Darcars service around 5:00 to see if there was any chance they could program the remotes for me. The service manager Jason told me the techs leave by 5:00 on Friday. He then asked me asked how far away I was and I told him about 15-20 minutes. He put me on hold for about 2 minutes and came back and told me a was able to find a tech that was willing to wait for me to get there so I could have my remotes programmed before the weekend. WOW! What great customer service! I arrived about 20 minutes later and was greeted with a smile by Mr. Mirhadi and was in and out with my programmed reomtes. These guys totally made my 9 month pregnant wife's day, and have earned a service customer for life. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to help us out!! More
I had previously purchased a used car from DARCARS 12 years ago, but I was trying to find a dealership closer to home. I was very particular about what I was interested in, a used blue Toyota Corolla S years ago, but I was trying to find a dealership closer to home. I was very particular about what I was interested in, a used blue Toyota Corolla S with the minimum: CD player, moonroof, and spoiler, and what I could afford, approximately $15,000.00. I was in desparate need of a reliable car because of the 104 mile commute each day to work. I love to shop, but car shopping is not anywhere near the top of the list. My experience at the dealership closer to home was nothing like what I received from DARCARS. However, after meeting Chris and Sasan, "shopping" for a car and the process went a lot smoother than I had anticipated. The sales consultant, Chris, understood my situation, made suggestions about features and exterior color, and he went above and beyond to provide great customer service. I was amazed at the deal that I was given for a brand new car, which was around my price range. Still being limited on what I could afford with additional warranties, Sasan also understood my predicament, made suggestions, and he went above and beyond to help me choose and purchase a bumper to bumper warranty that would fit my needs at an affordable price, as well as know that my car will be taken care of with the DARCARS maintenance plan. Needless to say, I was EXTREMELY happy when I left in a 2012 Magnetic Gray Toyota Corolla S knowing that I had two great warranties for my new car. After I arrived at home and had discussed with my husband about my experience, his eyes almost popped out of his head and I told him that I had the perfect sales consultant and finance manager for him when it was time for him to get a new vehicle. Because of the experience that I encountered, I do not think I will ever go to another dealership again. I would highly recommend DARCARS to family and friends. I had told my mom, who was with me when I purchased the car, that I should have gone back to DARCARS to begin with. More
I went online helping my daughter locate the car of her dreams! I ended up on Darcars website which put me in touch with Chris Santiago. I explained the situation & he was more then willing to help locate the "perfect" car my daughter wanted. She had her heart set on a blue corolla S with moonroof, spoiler & few extras, he called me a few times that week just to touch base & I told him we were planning a trip there on memorial day. He had located a blue corolla S which my daughter was thrilled, but ended up already being sold till we arrived to look @ it! No problem, we walked the lot & found a gray one which we test drove & rode like a dream. Needless to say he was able to give us a GREAT deal on the gray corolla & my daughter walked away with the car that day. The experience was fantastic & my daughter absolutely LOVES her new car!!! Thank you Chris & Sasan for taking the time on such a busy day to work with her & explain all the details that go with buying a car. More
This is the second Toyota we have purchased from Darcars of Frederick. When we decided we needed a new vehicle, there was no question that we would first go to Darcars. After checking with Darcars, we checked with two other dealers, and each time decided there was no comparison to Darcars. From the first time we walked into the showroom until the time we left with our new Prius, we could not have been more satisfied. Richard Remsburg was an OUTSTANDING sales consultant. He was always very patient in answering our questions or finding answers for us. We never felt pressured or hurried in any way. He introduced us to other Darcars personnel involved in sales and financing and assured us that everyone was there to help. By the time we left after our first visit, we were convinced that the Toyota Prius was the car we wanted to seriously consider and Darcars was the dealership. When we returned at a later date, Richard took us for a second test drive which was extremely helpful. Upon returning to the dealership, we began negotiations and Richard successfully negotiated a deal to our satisfaction. After we decided to purhase the Prius, James Higgins led us through all the aspects of financing, including maintenance, warranty and protection programs. He explained everything in detail. When we had settled, we felt very comfortable with our decisions. When we arrived for delivery of our Prius, John Kutchak was also very helpful and detailed when going through the vehicle delivery check list. He made sure we knew all the in's and out's of the vehicle we were purchasing before we drove it away, and offered his assistance with any questions we might have in the future. We can't say enough good things about all the personnel we were involved with at Darcars. You can be sure it will be the first dealership we check out for future purchases. We would not hesitate to recommend Darcars to other potential buyers, as we have done in the past. More
We walked in one evening just looking at some of the cars that we had looked at online. We hadn't driven a Prius before but we were welcomed right away and Bob went and got the keys for us to get in and look that we had looked at online. I loved that he just gave us the keys and let us take the car for a good test drive. He was honest with the internet prices and took our counter offer seriously. We didn't get the car down to exactly what we wanted but the car was in great shape and we were happy with all of the service that we got from Bob. He handed us over to Mike Obrien for the finance part and were treated just as great. He was honest about everything and broke down the payments and exactly what would cost what. We knew what our monthly payment would be before we signed anything and he offered us the optional warranty for us to get. Both of these men that we worked with were awesome. They weren't the normal car salesmen that I have experienced before. They treat you like a person, not another sale. More
I emailed over 12 dealers in Maryland when looking to buy a new Prius. I asked 2 specific questions on pricing in the email. Out of those 12+ dealers, only DARCARS Toyota Frederick and 1 other dealer actuall a new Prius. I asked 2 specific questions on pricing in the email. Out of those 12+ dealers, only DARCARS Toyota Frederick and 1 other dealer actually answered my questions in their first reply. Another dealer answered my actual questions after an additional email re-enforcing what I had originally asked. I was impressed that DARCARS answered (specifically Gareth Hill) with the details that I requested the first time while almost all other dealers stonewalled. Some dealers took 3-4 emails to get ANY pricing information let alone COMPLETE pricing information clearly listed and broken down by category and with an invoice. There is a very good chance I will buy from DARCARS but I will post another review for the buying experience if that actually happens. More
Steve Valentino was my salesman. He did an excellent job looking, explaining and finalizing the sale. It was not a pushy sales job as you find in some dealerships. Steve made sure I was happy with my selection, price and anything related to the sale. He has followed up a few times after leaving the dealership to make sure all was good with my vehicle. Good customer service is rare these days and Mr. Valentino certainly exceeds at all levels. Mike Obrien did the money business. He was very thorough on every detail. Explaining all the little lines that can effect the bottom line. You can tell Mr.Obrien is a seasoned person in his line of work. Any question was answered without waiting to look something up or asking anyone else. He also customized my finance to where it benefitted me and my loan. Don't hesitate walking into Darcars Frederick and ask for these two men. They took the "pain in the arse" of buying vehicle right out of the way and made my purchase very enjoyable, affordable and didn't leave me thinking I was overcharged. More

The financial person - I hope his name was Nima , was so patient with us. We are senior citizens and have both had strokes. Nima explained some of the options several times, until we were comfortable with our decisions. This is our second Darcar. Our family was helped greatly by Paul Chesney, one of the sales associates at Darcars of Frederick! We had a limited budget and Paul was more than willing to take the time with us to ensure that whatever we sales associates at Darcars of Frederick! We had a limited budget and Paul was more than willing to take the time with us to ensure that whatever we got would meet our needs in a price that wouldn't break our budget. He helped us through the entire process including financing and even after the sale when we had a small repair issue.
