Pilots sell themselves = no effort This is my 5th Honda, 3rd from this dealer. Until now all my experinces have been the best as have also been those of several friends I have recommen This is my 5th Honda, 3rd from this dealer. Until now all my experinces have been the best as have also been those of several friends I have recommended to go there. During the purchase process I was explained several times that Pilots are in shortage due to some factory issue with shared production lines with the MDX. In other words they tell you that it is a take it or leave it deal. I was also told I was getting an even better deal because I was buying a car that was not in the lot - that turned out not to be true either. Salesperson has no incentive to put an effort- but they still ask for 'all 10'. "The manager" that came to talk to me told me the same - so this seems to me more like the practice with Pilots. At the end I got the same deal all other dealers in the area were offering. Not a bad deal, just not better. The buy it or lose it to the next guy was unnecessary. Not worth a drive if you are comming from far. More
