My wife and I were looking for a certified used honda or toyota. After having visited the DCH Toyota dealership near our house, we were very impressed with DCH quality. At Academy Honda, we looked around the lot for awhile before someone noticed us. When they did we were set up with Joe Lisciandri. Joe is professional, perceptive, and prepared. He made an effort to understand our need and match us up with the car that best suited us. He was able to work around our hectic schedule which we are very thankful for. He was patient and kind and made sure that he answered all of our many questions. As we only looked at certified cars, I can't speak for any other department. However, the manager, Adrian Acosta (?), was decidedly unwilling to negotiate specifically when it comes to cars with a 'red tag'. After being presented with a known issue with the type of car we were going to purchase, they were evasive and reluctant to recognize our concern regardless of its actual validity. It took some doing to get anything out of them to address our concern. However, we are thankful that they did eventually help us out. Joe, however, was always in our corner and did everything in his power to help us. Dmitry helped us with our financing. As far as I could tell, he was the only finance officer at the time and there was at least a few other customers behind me when I entered his office. Possibly because of this fact, he seemed impatient and I felt rushed. He verbally appreciated my apprehension and desire to methodically make our way through the paperwork, but he acted a bit frustrated. When it came time to show us the options available to extend the warranty or add other services, he exerted a lot of pressure. I felt as though he was being condescending and as such I felt pressured. This was not an ideal experience and I did not feel 100% comfortable. Overall it was a good experience. Would recommend. If you need a pre-owned Honda, Joe Lisciandri is your man. Despite my critiques, Academy Honda was the best dealership we visited and the staff was very friendly. They were very busy both times we visited, but I still felt like we were the only ones there with the level of service we received. We had no qualms about driving over 35 minutes and would recommend to any friends/family who need a new/used car. More
