Watch out for hidden fees While negotiating the cost of a new vehicle the salesperson presented a grocery list of extras. One particular item was the etching on the glass for $ While negotiating the cost of a new vehicle the salesperson presented a grocery list of extras. One particular item was the etching on the glass for $399.00. The salesperson proceeded to explain how I can save 15% on my car insurance if I bought it. I turned down the extra saving myself $399.00. Later on when I finalized the purchase I had to inform my insurance company I need a temporary insurance card to drive home and to take the old car off the policy. The insurance agent asked if the glass had etching and before I could say anything the salesperson interrupted and said yes. I asked the question what etching is and the insurance agent explained it was the ID information in the corner of the glass. I looked over vehicle and noticed the little white lettering in the corner and read it off to her to confirm that is what she was referring to. She said yes. The salespeople at this dealership are crooks and will sell you something the car already has installed. More
