I have not bought a car in twelve years. Let me tell you things have changed. The whole buying process is now very extensive, no more just signing on the dotted line. But DCH Kay Honda made this eexcruciating process more palatable. Everything I had to sign was fully, FULLY, explained to me and the finance person made sure I understood everything I signed. The process turned out to be actually somewhat pleasant and quick. Actually my whole experience with DCH Kay Honda progressed at my pace, not theirs. Everyone from the General Manager, Ray Disimone, down throughout his staff, were most pleasant. My salesperson Kevin McKenna was knowledgeable regarding all aspects on my chosen vehicle. All were interested in making the usually painful buying process more pleasant, less stressful. All my questions were answered and answered again if I did not fully understand whatever was being explained (and believe me a lot has changed with cars since I last purchased one). I did forget some things regarding my purchase and Ray did not hesitate to arrange for another “tutorial” on the car. I honestly don’t feel that I ever had such a painless and pleasant experience in making one of life’s major purchases. I would NOT hesitate to return to DCH Kay Honda for any other future purchases. BTW, my Honda Touring is an exceptional vehicle that I enjoy driving everywhere; I was previously a Nissan owner but have switched. More

I am a mother of four active children who needed a new car by start of school- I really needed a car that would fit growing teens ( and friends) along with sports equipment, Kevin zeroed in on the perf car by start of school- I really needed a car that would fit growing teens ( and friends) along with sports equipment, Kevin zeroed in on the perfect model The Pilot EXL. He helped me add the crossbars that would accommodate the surf gear and snowboards also for add'd storage. As it was a holiday weekend i thought it would take a few days to actually trade my other car and drive in the new one. Not so! I was able to do all of it late Saturday afternoon, He really made the whole experience of trying to buy a new car very easy and not stressful. Very happy with my purchase and i am looking forward to buying another Honda form Kevin very soon! More

To make a long story short, here were the major issues when my husband and I went to go buy a new Honda Civic for him (let me reemphasize NEW): 1. We were trying to trade in his old Honda as part of the deal. Since they only wanted to give 200 dollars we decided not to sell it to them. The 200 dollars never got deducted off the price because they admitted they weren't truly going to pay him for the old Honda, just make him think they were. Salesperson wanted props for honesty for admitting that, but he already lied so no props to him, thank you. 2. We were in the market for a NEW Honda civic. They only had one black one left on the lot that was previously borrowed by a radio station for a week or so with 756 miles on it. The salesperson told us during the test drive which only he drove that the sounds made when breaking would go away after the car was driven a little... The sounds were due to the car sitting in the lot for 30 days with no movement. He also said he would clean that up for us. He did not take care of that and it has only gotten worse 4 days later along with the wheel starting to shake. When I asked if the car was thoroughly inspected for wear and tear, they said yes of course. 3. There was a chip in the handle as well. All this into consideration with no extra price reduction. 4. False advertisement online. Summer sale price of this car was quoted at 19 and change plus a Costco program reduction in an email. Members of costcos have an option to receive this advantage. We were first told you could not stack a sale price with the costcos deal... Then we were told there was no sale price.. Really inconsistent stories as far as pricing went. Only when we were 3 quarters if the way through the paperwork did we see all pricing in its entirety no matter how hard we pushed earlier. At that point, you say who cares we just want to take e new car home, but ironically enough, the car does not even feel new.. It feels like we were sold a lemon. 5. To top it off, I called the dealership yesterday to speak with so wine regarding these issues and they said a manager would return my call... Needless to say, no one called me back. HORRIBLE customer service. I will never buy from here ever again. The salesman may have gotten a commission check, but I will make sure nobody I know buys from here. The key to sales is good customer service, honesty, and longevity. This dealership has none of those qualities. More
