For $5 dollar part I was told charge will be $112 which is unacceptable. Part that was missing in the vehicle cost $5.99 on line. Do not purchase/service your vehicle at this dealership! Purchased a 2022 Accord back in March 2022. This was the 3rd Honda purchased from this dealership over the years. Purchsed (2) from the DCH Academ Purchased a 2022 Accord back in March 2022. This was the 3rd Honda purchased from this dealership over the years. Purchsed (2) from the DCH Academy Honda as well. This 2022 Accord car has been nothing but a nightmare. Two weeks after purchase, 3/28/22, it needed a new cv axle. Had told the service department the car wanders all over the road. They never looked at anything and said it was fine. The issue continued to get worse. The vehicle had a tremendous amount of body roll. This was the 4th accord I have owned, and none of the others drove like this. Soft and bouncy on the highway, yet hard as a rock over bumps. Absolutely terrible suspension. Took the car back in to Kay Honda in March 2023, as no local garage could figure out the problem. I also told them the window regulator needed to be adjusted. Glass is completely loose. Additionally, the car has been having an ongoing knocking and clunking noise in the front end. What did they do, absolutely nothing. They told me the car was safe. Safe?! Just fix the car...it's under warranty. I went back down to the dealership because the service advisor, Jacob, was not calling me back. When I arrived, I stated that I wanted the mechanic to go for a ride with me. Service advisor claimed the mechanic stepped out. Stepped out where? Lying is something I do not tolerate. The service advisor then said he will come with me. I said what would be the point of having him coming along when he's not a mechanic? He agreed but said this is what he was told to do. I then said I want to speak to the service manager. Well guess what the service manager flat out refused to speak with me. He was literally right in front of me behind a window. Would not even make eye contact. Unbelievable! The sheer unprofessionalism of this dealership is just unbelievable. Next, they send me a C tech...the dude who puts wipers on cars to go for a ride with me. We get in the car and it's driving completely different. The suspension was now hard as rock. It was as if they installed a different suspension. They likely cranked the sh$! out of the control arm bolts. I later figured out why. Turns out it's a known issue with the 2018+ accords. The compliance bushings were torn. This explains the ridiculous amount of body roll. I had to have parts replaced that were fully covered under warranty. Stabilizer links and tie rods also had to be replaced. Now I'm getting a loud knocking noise from the strut mounts. Also as a result of the defective control arms. The honda automatic braking system malfunctions all the time. It goes off with nothing in front of the car. Extremely dangerous vehicle to drive. Then the brakes started acting up. The left front caliper was not releasing. Don't worry it's fine. Turns out the rear brakes were no longer engaging. The ebrake would work but not when you pressed on the pedal. Honda never bothered to grease the slide pins on the calipers apparently. This caused the front brakes to overheat. Piece of junk car. Completely unsafe. Transmission clunked increasing and decreasing speed. It's fine though right. Turns out the Transmission mount was loose. Too many bolts were loose on the car. Car also.has electrical issues. The radio randomly gets extremely bright out of nowhere, typically during the day. There is also a clicking noise that has started under the steering column. A few days ago the radio increased volume all by itself. I had to shut it off as the volume would not go down. Honda no longer makes quality vehicles, and their dealerships refuse to do warranty work. It's honestly the worst vehicle I have ever owned. I brought a brand new piece of junk. What did DCH Kay Honda do for me, absolutely nothing. Basically told me to go f myself. All the 5 star reviews are from people buying cars. Ask yourself, who likes a car dealership.
