Came in for an oil change on 4/13/24 and left with a damaged lip on my car. I have let things slide in the past from leaving latex gloves in the cup holders, oil stains on my floor mats, etc. but now I damaged lip on my car. I have let things slide in the past from leaving latex gloves in the cup holders, oil stains on my floor mats, etc. but now I am fed up with the inept performance from whoever drove my car in the back to get worked on. I have reached out and though Marvin from the service department has offered a resolution, I do not trust them to drive my vehicle to their affiliated body shop and get this repainted. What's the point of sliding the "satisfactory" survey at the end of a service if they cannot properly handle your vehicle? I no longer trust this dealership to service my vehicle and will take my auto services elsewhere. Beware of their lousy drivers and technicians. More

Very much appreciated. More

Unfortunately our experience was not enjoyable. We informed him we would bring in a price quote either on Friday or Saturday. On Friday, before heading over, we wanted to confirm the price match before heading in. With traffic, we live a couple of hours from riverside and did not want to make that drive if we were not going to get the price match honored. We called Cesar and informed him that we would have a long drive and asked him if there are any stipulations or discrepancies for the price match. He told us that it just needed to be a price quote from a Subaru dealer and that it should be pretty straight forward and easy to do. We headed to the dealership and after finally getting there, my family and I test drove the Forester. When we sat down to do the price match and when I showed him the quote he informed me it was too low and spent some time looking for a reason to not do the price match. Finally after some time he said that he couldn't do the price match because the vehicle was deemed certified preowned. The vehicle being price matched had less miles (7 miles) than the Forester on the Riverside lot (has more than 20 miles) and looked to be in better shape. I was informed by the other dealer that the vehicle on their lot is a new vehicle and was moved to certified preowned because it was a 2023 older model and they were trying to sell their older inventory making room for their new inventory. He again informed me that since it is certified preowned he would not honor the price. I then asked for the documentation on the policy of Subaru Riverside's Price match guarantee (to show no price matching for preowned) and he did not have an answer. I asked again and he said that the email that he sends us is the official document on the policy of Subaru Riverside and that he could send it again and that it would be official. After going back and forth about what an actual official policy and document was he told me a story of why Subaru Riverside does not have a written policy available, related to people who donate dog food to the dealership. At that moment I realized that he was not going to honor the price from the start when he took so much time to figure out a reason not to honor the quoted price match. I told him that we took the time to drive through traffic to get to the dealership and how misleading he was to have us come out here with a false price guarantee. He just shook my hand and thanked me for coming to Riverside Subaru. A very unpleasant experience. More
You make an appointment for a reason and they take there time which they make you wait hours & it’s boring wait for something that takes 30 mins to do, just for an oil change. time which they make you wait hours & it’s boring wait for something that takes 30 mins to do, just for an oil change. More
