Hi Rod, In short, it was a little frustrating dealing with Rogelio since he started out by quoting me 18,500 for a new Rav4 (which he did not tell me, but I knew - included the $1000 new grad discount). But that is okay - everyone does that. But he just would NOT give me a quote as to what car (color, specs, cost etc.) we were talking about. After a 3-4 times, it got too frustrating trying to keep on having to call him to have him get back to me with nothing. All I got was, come down to the dealership and he'd beat anyone's offer by $500. The final straw was when I asked him how much a V6 would cost, his price suddenly went up by 5K. You guys should know that it is in stark contrast to what the other dealership's internet people do. I actually got the spec sheet of the car by two dealers in response to my FIRST email inquiry. No point having an internet sales division if the whole 'ploy' is feed people anything they want to here just to get them down to the dealership. People doing online comparisons are pretty savvy are not going to go down if you give them nothing to make them trust you. I had also received a courtesy email from Matt Dimmitt and so I replied at the end explaining my annoyance with Rogelio, but did not get any response from him. So I figured that was just what Rogelio was 'taught' to do at Oxnard. That's why I was surprised that you actually bothered to follow up. Thanks for your offer for the first service and like I said, I do appreciate your interest in following up. Thanks! Warren.
