Tried negotiating a used Acura TLX over text and had the misfortune of dealing with Gilbert. When asked a direct question about whether a specific VIN was factory Acura Precision Certified or just standard misfortune of dealing with Gilbert. This is completely false as dealerships sell uncertified used cars all the time. When I sent a screenshot straight from the official national Acura certified website proving him wrong, he ignored my text for MINUTES. It wasn't until I texted and asked to be passed on to a different person in his department, he miraculously replied in a snap and immediately got defensive and started dodging the question, refusing to give a straight answer while aggressively trying to fish for my personal info AGAIN. If you want a transparent buying experience without being lied to about warranty status, dealt with defensively, and ghosted on out-the-door pricing, go to a different salesperson or a different dealership entirely. Gilbert plays too many deceiving games. More
