I have never experienced such incompetence and dishonesty from a so-called “luxury” dealership in my life.
When I purchased my car from this Acura dealership, there were visible stains on the seats. I was PROMISED they would be professionally removed if I paid full price instead of negotiating the cost down. I upheld my end of the deal. They absolutely did not.
Fast forward two months. I take time off during a weekday — because apparently customer convenience doesn’t matter — and leave my car with them for THREE DAYS. After keeping my car for nearly half a week, they tell me their technician “wasn’t there” to work on suede and that they didn’t touch the seats at all. So what exactly was my car doing there for three days?
After arguing with the sales manager and the original salesman who conveniently forgot what was promised, they offered to “dye” the seats back to the original color. Another three days without my car.
When I picked it up, the seats looked WORSE than before — yellow, dark brown blotches, the suede completely ruined, and the entire interior reeking of harsh chemicals. They didn’t fix the problem. They destroyed the material.
When I escalated the issue to the sales manager and finance manager, their response was essentially: “There’s nothing we can do.” Imagine hearing that from a dealership that prides itself on luxury and customer service.
After being passed around to THREE different people on THREE separate occasions, they finally offered compensation in parts. The parts I selected totaled $600. Replacement seats would have been around $800. I thought that was more than fair considering the damage they caused. After I submitted everything, they suddenly backtracked and said they could “only pay $250.”
$250 doesn’t even begin to cover the damage they created.
From there, it turned into them haggling with me like we were at a flea market, not a professional dealership — all while continuing to pass me around to different employees so no one had to take responsibility.
This dealership does not honor its word. They wasted my time, damaged my vehicle further, refused accountability, and tried to lowball me instead of fixing their mistake properly.
If this is how they treat paying customers who bought at full price, I can only imagine how they treat everyone else.
I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
