I always dread the car buying experience. It’s the same bad story everywhere you go. You get harassed by someone when you give them an email address or when you walk in, feel pressured and It’s the same bad story everywhere you go. You get harassed by someone when you give them an email address or when you walk in, feel pressured and pushed towards the wrong vehicle, made to feel like you’re wasting their time if you decide you don’t like a car after test driving it. If you do decide to buy it you get shuffled into a finance managers office that you don’t get to choose, presented with rates way higher than you expect and have fees and warranties shoved in your face so by the time you have to sign all the paperwork you’re so tired and exhausted you wonder what you’re signing and how your payment got so high. My experience with Fabian Gomez at Dallas Lease Returns was not at all what I kept expecting. I kept waiting for something stressful or bad to happen and it never did. I was in and out with the car I wanted in 2 hours. Fabian was the only person I worked with the entire time. There was NO pushy sales manager. There was NO pushy finance manager. There was NO annoying superior boss manager who came in to tell me what a phenomenal deal I was getting. Fabian let me take all the time I needed inspecting the car, and shockingly (I say shockingly bc this never happens), all of the important numbers you need when buying a car like sales price, APR, tax, and dealer fees magically calculated the same monthly payment on Fabian’s screen as it did on a car buying calculator I was using on my phone. Additionally, after I got home with my new car after from picking up my kids I realized I was missing a floor mat. I texted Fabian not particularly expecting a response bc after you sign all the paperwork that’s when sales people usually block your number and he immediately responded that he’d find me a floor mat (which he did and I picked up the next day). Fabian was kind, patient, and honest. And it truly felt like the rest of the company was like that as well. I’m still shocked and can’t believe I’m even saying this but I’m actually recommending a place to others where you buy cars. I didn’t think that was possible. I would never buy a new car again. They have tons of cars. Just go get one with a few miles on it so you can work with Fabian. More
