I was recently searching for a used car within my price range. I had already been to four other dealerships. I specifically mentioned that I'm a single parent and would like to stay in my budget. Mike Gallo LISTENED to me, as opposed to some other dealerships that just wanted to get me into a car, even if I couldn't afford it. My credit rating is not the best, but Mike and the financing department worked very hard to get me a loan at the best interest rate possible. I found Mike Gallo to be a down to earth salesman. Can you really say that about many people that sell cars? My son and I liked his personality right away, and by now we already knew what we didn't like in a dealership. From beginning to the end, we loved our experience at Dan Perkins Subaru. The receptionist/cashier, finance personnel, Kevin...another salesperson, and of course, Mike, made buying a car less stressful and a time to celebrate. Mike even took time the next day...a full thirty minutes, to show us how some of the features in the car work. I intend to send all of my friends and family to Mike Gallo for a car....Just awesome. More

Good day America and beyond, On Friday - the 22nd of November - I was introduced to Mr. Dan Perkins at Subaru in Milford, by Regina Golden - while trying not to jump up and down with my enthusiasm on pu November - I was introduced to Mr. Dan Perkins at Subaru in Milford, by Regina Golden - while trying not to jump up and down with my enthusiasm on purchase. The whole transaction from Regina to George was a learning vessel for me; also being greeted by Christine at the door and hugging Angie, was heartfelt and genuine. This team, "are in the perfect place" for folks like me who needed a view on buying a car. I love my Subaru and it matters when a team, like this, felt the same way. I am very grateful and want to extend a wonderful Thanksgiving to my Subaru team:) More

I've had my Subaru Legacy serviced an Dan Perkins Subaru for many years now, although I bought it at another dealership.I've always had a positive experience with the Service department so it made se Subaru for many years now, although I bought it at another dealership.I've always had a positive experience with the Service department so it made sense to consider this dealership first in considering a new Subaru. The time finally came for me to get into a more 'family oriented' car like an Outback. I'd been talking to Bob Oshrin for months via Phone/E-mail and he was very friendly and understood my timeline was uncertain. He said just let him know. So finally the day came to buy a new Outback. I can say that I really put buying a car off just because I really dislike the whole process. With each experience, I felt weary that my concerns were considered. But I am pleased to say that this was not how it happened with Bob. From the moment we first connected on e-mail to the moment I pulled out of the lot in a new Outback, it was a very positive experience. Although Bob will say he's not really a 'car guy', he really is. He knows his cars very well and he was motivated to get me into the right car for me. He listened very well to what I was interested in/needed and then negotiated fairly once we found the right fit for me and my family. I felt comfortable that Bob was truly looking to get me the best deal he could. He went the extra yard that help make a sales person stand out. Bob did a great job to explain the steps to me, he followed my paperwork closely, made sure my car was ready for delivery. If there was any kind of obstacle, he'd get on the phone and shout at the department manager. He had a smile on his face so I could sense this was a routine conversation, all in good fun. But I'm highlighting that Bob knew how to get the deal done. All in all, we spent about 90 minutes, test driving and negotiating a deal. Delivery took an hour. I'm very pleased with this efficient use of time. Just the same, I never felt rushed. I can say that everyone at the dealership was friendly and Nick in finance was very courteous and efficient in finalizing the sale. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family if they are interested in a Subaru. Personally, I feel grateful to be introduced to Bob Oshrin to buy my new Subaru Outback. Buying a car was something I was not looking forward to but Bob seems to understand this and did his best to limit the frustrating aspects of buying a car. It might be some time from now but if I ever decide to buy a new Subaru, I will definitely seek out Bob to get the deal done. In fact, because of this positive experience, I might see if he can go with me if I decide to buy another brand of car....which I won't, Subaru knows AWD and this is very important in Connecticut. More

In fact, when we first arrived at the dealership to browse the cars in their lot, we were allowed to casually explore the different models at our leisure and for some time, without a sales rep shadowing us around. We came to an agreeable purchase and trade-in price rather quickly, and Mr. Oshrin made arrangements to deliver our new car in a timely manner. When working with George Irizarry to complete the sales process and arrange for financing, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no pressure put upon us to purchase the myriad of "add-ons," such as extended warranties and protection plans. It was truly a relaxed and positive experience, and I would have no reservations recommending this dealership and Mr. Oshrin to others. More
I had searched for WEEKS and had been treated terribly by other dealerships. I'm a woman that does my homework, I knew what make of car I wanted, did car fax's on them then would go to the Consumer Reports s other dealerships. To say I was treated with little respect at these Dealerships is an understatement, one even told me to bring my husband in, another asked "What color car are you looking for?" Imagine? I happened upon the Dan Perkins Subaru site as it had brought up 2 Toyotas that I was interested in late Saturday night. I checked the hours and decided to take a chance and call the next day which was Sunday. The ride to the Dealership was approximately 90 mins. I called and happened to have Jeffery Watkins answer. I told him the distance, what I was interested in, what I had to spend and that I didn't want to waste his time or mine. We concluded the conversation with Mr. Watkins saying "If you come all the way down here and test drive and like one of the cars, I will make it happen". Needless to say I took a chance and took a ride. In the confusion with construction on the roads that are unfamiliar to me "Samantha" was wonderful as well. Her voice smiled if that makes sense. She guided me and never lost her patience or her sunny attitude. Technically Samantha is the first contact anyone has when calling the Dealership. This young woman is a gem, you're fortunate to have her. I was fortunate to have her there. Mr. Jeffery Watkins is a very warm and down to earth man. He is confident and self assured but most importantly I was scared to death, he was calm and reassuring. He was honest. You have no idea how important that is and I should know.13 dealerships and many, many test drives in vehicles that in one instance didn't want to break. No, really. I test drove my car, saw Jeff inside, he said "Well what do you think?" I replied simply "I want it" Jeff made that happen. To refer to him as Mr. Watkins is indeed the proper way I should be referring to him as, but that's to stuffy and formal for him, so yes Jeff made that happen. Samantha stayed past closing to help with everything. Never did her smile or attitude change. She kept saying "I am SO happy for you" I asked for a hug from her and was gladly given one. Poor Mr. Watkins didn't have a chance, I just had to hug him. I want you all to know that I asked how to write a review. So many people are so quick to complain, not enough of them take the time to say "Thank You" to them properly. I certainly hope I just did. P.S. My car was decorated and front and center the day I picked it up. Balloons attached to the wipers, little gifts... but inside a Podium also decorated with floating balloons with a poster with my name on it, congratulating me on my new car. Never, ever, had I ever had that, or felt so special about a purchase. Thank You again... And yes, I have told everyone I know. Now I've told you too. Regina was very knowledgeable about the vehicle we were purchasing (Subaru Forester 2014) and answered all questions thoroughly and proficiently. She was extremely accommodating and could not have been more helpful as we contemplated what options to select. After the car was ready, she checked to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. She then explained all the mechanics of the car in a very understandable and patient manner. We highly recommend Regina Golden as an outstanding salesperson. She is certainly the best we have ever come across when purchasing a car. Hope she stays at Dan Perkins Subaru because we will be back to purchase another car in the very near future. More
