Chris, We appreciate your comments and are truly sorry about the negative experience you have described in your comments. We certainly understand your frustration. However, we should point out that it is not our policy to mislead customers as to the condition of any of our vehicles. In fact, as soon as we learned of your issue, we bought the vehicle back from you (after 3 months) at the original selling price. Then we deeply discounted another vehicle for you and worked with the bank to secure financing on that vehicle. To DarkInCT, We apologize for your negative experience at Dan Perkins Subaru. We always try our best to give our customers what they want and more. We ordered that vehicle for you because you said you wanted it and you put a deposit down. We do not have control over how long it takes to get a vehicle. We did match the price you received from another dealer and also included our Lifetime Warranty at no charge. However, you had already made the purchase from that dealer. We then were asked to refund your deposit. We located the vehicle and transported it to our dealership in good faith. That aside, when we asked if your deposit was made via cash, check or credit card, we were told it was a check. Our standard business procedure for refund on a check is that we will refund the total amount due after 10 business days. We are sorry for your frustration. Since there was no credit application involved in your transaction, we certainly could not be able to mention that you have or do not have proper credit. Either way, we thank you for your input & hope you enjoy your vehicle.
