I absolutely enjoyed my first Jeep, a '14 Cherokee that was a big step up from what I was driving in so many ways. Fast forward 5 years and I went looking for the opportunity to get into a Grand Cherokee - who else to call up but Harry? Put simply: I was given a fantastic deal, and satisfied is a great understatement to describe the outcome. My fiancée was also in the market for a car, and she took a look around the market, did some test drives but did not have a good personal experience with a different dealership for a different brand. I suggested that she should check out the current Cherokee as it had certain critical features she was looking for, and of course, who else but Harry? It is the first car change for her in about 10 years and she is delighted. The most important takeaway to have here, and why you should also go see Harry, is very simple, but key: personal care. Sales or service of any kind, in any industry, is something people work to be "good" at, and the mark I think most often miss is the ability to understand who is in front of them, what they need, and how the employee can get them there. The poor experience my fiancée had was mostly because the salesperson (again, from a different brand) was kind, but clearly focused on their own end goal: the sale. They lacked the understanding of what she was looking for, and when push came to shove, they tried to convince her that what she wanted was not as important as she considered it to be, and elected to steer her in a direction she was disinterested in and nudging the deal through. Harry does not do this. He identifies what you want, helps you find what is available that meets this need, and when it comes to the sales process it does not become a teeth-grinding negotiation - it is a conversation with a reasonable person who wants to help you get what you need. I have personally known 4 great experiences with Harry (2 for me, 1 now for my fiancée, and 1 for my boss years ago.) He is knowledgeable, friendly, and direct. Skip the nonsense of uncomfortable car buying experiences, and go see him. It will be the best decision you make. More

Having had an unbelievable and horrific experience at another Chrysler dealer (Modern Dodge/Mazda in Thomaston) I was very hesitant about going back to any Chrysler dealer for purchase or service. I looked long and hard at many reviews and Danbury seemed to have some really good reviews. Not just stars but I was listening to what was actually being said in the reviews and I decided to try one last time with dealer service. Danbury was more than fair. Melissa was a pleasure to deal with from the first phone call to the completion of all necessary repairs. My Promaster needed some major repairs and they were handled expertly. Not all dealers are set up to handle high top Promaster vans. I noticed when I picked mine up that there were quite a number of them in the shop. So if you're looking for a dealer that knows how to deal with the Promaster give Danbury a shot. I hope you will be as pleased with their service as I am.
