Mrs. Marx, We respectfully request that you cease to mischaracterize this transaction. An adult, with no obvious impairments, walked into the dealership and requested to lease a new vehicle. This gentleman was accompanied by a relative who raised no objections or found anything amiss. There was absolutely nothing to lead us to believe that there was any issue with the gentleman's faculties or that he was in any way incapable of making decisions. Your description is highly inaccurate, given his appearance and demeanor and, in point of fact, is verging on libelous. We have spoken, and responded to you in writing, repeatedly, most recently last week when you had discussions, at length, with our business manager which, we were led to believe, had resolved any outstanding questions. I will not digress into further, and repeated, explanations, but strongly suggest that if there are any additional issues or questions you have--within the confines of what is possible for the dealership and not Hyundai Motor Finance, to resolve, that you make an appointment to meet, in person, with our business manager. Thank you.

Ms. Marx, we take great exception with your characterization. Your relative came into the dealership, accompanied by another gentleman, who you have stated was his son-in-law. Your relative had a valid driver's license, was able to engage in meaningful conversation and negotiations, and requested to lease a vehicle. We accommodated him as anything less would have been discriminatory. We cancelled the warranty at your request, despite the fact that you are neither the lessee nor the conservator for this gentleman, and it was explained that the refund would be returned to the leasing company, as they are lien holder, and the credit would be applied to the term of the lease--meaning there would be a reduction in the total number of payments. For further information, we recommend you contact Hyundai Title Leasing at -800-523-4030.
