2017 Tucson Purchase While this survey reflects the experience we had with the salesperson, we were very dissatisfied with the person doing the financing. We were told and While this survey reflects the experience we had with the salesperson, we were very dissatisfied with the person doing the financing. We were told and agreed to a finance percentage rate during the sales process, but immediately upon entering the financing office, the finance rate was changed from 3.9% to 5.2% - a difference of approximately $2,000+. We were incorrectly told that his higher rate was due to the discounts the dealer gave for purchasing the car. Once we questioned the rate, the finance person changed the rate to 3.9% - without any additional questions or approval from management or the lender. It is our opinion, that this was done intentionally - given that most people do not pay attention to the rate if the monthly payments are the same. Again, while the sales process itself was good. The financing experience left a bad taste in our mouth. More
