We just purchased our third CRV from Darrell Waltrip Honda. The staff were, as always, friendly and helpful. The Salesman who worked with us was Tom Woods. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in presenting our options to us in our selection of our new car. He also introduced us to our first Hybrid vehicle. Tom is so personable and great to work with. We felt that we have made a new friend. All the staff we worked with were responsive to any questions. As we were there, I noticed that the folks who work there, no matter their specific jobs, did genuinely appear to enjoy working together. That speaks well of this dealership and makes customers glad to return. More

While I am happy with the car itself,I was disappointed in how parts of the sale process was handled. I felt pressured into accepting add-ons such a LoJack protection plan, cup molding and tinting despite in how parts of the sale process was handled. I felt pressured into accepting add-ons such a LoJack protection plan, cup molding and tinting despite expressing that I was not interested . I later asked about the side molding ,which I felt was necessary, and even asked if I could substitute one of the add-ons for molding I was surprised to learn the molding is $675.So I have at least two add-ons that I don’t want and a feature I do want at an additional $675. I understand I could have walked away, but I genuinely liked the vehicle. This said, the pressure and transparency around add-ons left a negative impression. The significant $675 cost of molding added to my frustration. Regarding the customer satisfaction survey—I know the dealership values ( manufacturing incentives etc) a score of 10, but I don’t feel that a perfect score is deserved in this case. While the end result (owning the car) is positive, the sales experience with the exception of the excellent sales advisor Ron Tutt, and the professional financial manager,Quanda Kimbrough, did not meet my expectations. I hope this feedback is taken constructively . I believe in giving a businesses a chance to improve and wanted to be honest rather than just leaving a score without context. More
