Being the third vehicle I have bought at Arbogast we have been very pleased with all dealings we have had. The last vehicle we bought was a Pontiac Torrent. He can answer your questions & asks someone if he doesn't know the answer. It was a pleasure dealing with him & all others at Arbogast. One can see that this young man enjoys his job very much and when you like what you are doing both he and the dealership benefits greatly. The service dept.has always been very pleasant to work with. As we live in Greenville,about 30 miles west,they have always worked very well setting up any appointments with us. Hope to see your dealership and it's employees in business for many years. We went to visit my parents in Troy, Ohio for the weekend. I mentioned to my dad, I had just turned in my vehicle on a lease and needed to find a new one. There were 2 vehicles I kinda liked, the LaCross and Regal(as we had been in China and Europe and had seen this model for the past couple of years). My dad, being my dad, said come on, let's go see what 'Jim' has down at Arbogast. I rolled my eyes, said I didn't drive 250 miles to go see cars, as I really wasn't enthusiastic about any models this year. Our welcome was wonderful and warm. I test drove and thought. I really liked the car in the showroom. My dad said get it. My hubby said get it. I said let me think about it! The salesman didn't pressure me at all. This was going to be my first car since 1989. I had the vans, BIG SUV's, for the kids, dogs and family activities!. Long story short, went back to the folks, slept on it. Woke and said...ok, lets do it. Mr. Jim Regal, Aborgast, was one of the most professional, kind, clean-cut and honest gentleman I've ever met. He spent an inordanant amount of time on the phone with me, to "educate me" on the professional, kind, clean-cut and honest gentleman I've ever met. He spent an inordanant amount of time on the phone with me, to "educate me" on the cars I was interested in. I had no thought of buying a new car this soon, I was just looking and researching. But because Jim was so giving of his time and so professional, I decided that I would drive over 40 miles to meet him and test drive the GMCs at Arborgast. I'd already dealt with other dealers, and did not care to return. Meeting him in person proved to be an even better experience. He was not in least bit pushy, but just open, honest and was willing to give me plenty of time to drive any/every car I might like. I wanted in-turn to make sure he was able to get to other customers, because I wasn't planning on buying a new car this year. He wasn't worried about that, and I was given the finest treatment. I worked with him for quite a while. I still wasn't really ready to buy. But, it was Mr. Riegle's demeanor, very professional manner, kindness and thoughtfulness, that actually made me decide to trade in my car, and purchase the 2011 Acadia. I was actually in the market for a lower-priced car, but after driving the Terrain (more in my price range), I liked the looks of the Acadia better (though more expensive). He recommended it based on the smoothness of the ride, the exceptionally larger interior, etc. But, again, he did not pressure me at all. At the end of the ride, we started dealing. He was kind, and fun and happy, and treated me with due respect. I would send anyone to buy a new car, and would definitely recommend Mr. Riegle. He has to be one of GMC's "Finest" professionals.
