Anthony and the other guys involved were amazing! Went above and beyond and didn’t give-up when things got hard. They made my son the happiest 17 year old I know. dealership overall was excellent, but calling Detroit to make the appointment was bit of micro managing. No one was aware of a 12:45 p.m. appointment, but they handled it very well. Maybe Kirk needs to hand make the appointment was bit of micro managing. No one was aware of a 12:45 p.m. appointment, but they handled it very well. On Monday, 27 Jan, I called in to set up an appointment to bring in my vehicle for a recall. The appointment date, I was given was 04 Feb at 10 am, I arrived on that date and time to be informed there was to bring in my vehicle for a recall. The appointment date, I was given was 04 Feb at 10 am, I arrived on that date and time to be informed there was no record of me having an appointment (strike1). I had also requested service on m vehicle for an extended crank, no start problem. This known problem with my 3.0 diesel engine (LM2). I received a call from the service consultant Scott Elmore, my vehicle was ready; the recall was fixed, but they could not duplicate the long crank- no start problem .And they could not find a service bulletin on my engine type for the problem. The service consultant stated he would call me back once my vehicle was ready. I never received a call from again (strike#2). In the mean time I spent 2 minutes on the internet and found the TSB and the PIP5823B, explaining the fixed needed for my problem. I call the service department 3 times trying to get a hold of the consultant, to give him this information. I was never able to reach him or any one in service to relay this information (strike#3). I also left 2 messages for him to call me. When I finally got tired of waiting for a call back, I went to the dealership, just to pick up my vehicle. Unable to find the consultant at his desk I left a copy of the PIP5823B on his desk, as I was pulling away, he came running out with the copy I had left him. He stated that the PIP was for a different engine that what I have in my vehicle. He stated the LM2 engine was a 3.0 diesel engine not for my engine. At this point, I pointed to the side of my engine compartment, which displays in large letters 3.0 diesel turbo engine which the LM2 engine (strike #4). He at this point recognized he was wrong and offered to schedule an appointment with me, I declined his offer Brendan Carney 773 610-8031 More
