The only negative thing I can say is we couldn't negotiate an agreeable price to trade in our other vehicle, so we decided not to trade in, and we sold the vehicle ourselves privately. I was just writing commending about the workers at Dave Mungenast new car dealer and a saleman/friend I was rating. While I have this site up I will go ahead and share about my recent service experience at Mungenast new car dealer and a saleman/friend I was rating. While I have this site up I will go ahead and share about my recent service experience at the used car side where I have my vehicle (not a Honda) serviced. I took my car to the local dealer where the Co. car is from a year ago but was not happy with the treatment I received there. After feeling like a number at that other dealer (not a Honda) down the street and not getting the work that I had asked for done right I left. I went a few blocks to my beloved Dave Mungenast Honda dealer. They gladly pointed me to Honda used car dealer that deals with other cars aside from Honda's . I was told they would maintain my new Co. car. After they did their research right there on their computer and put schedules adapted to this my vehicle I was set..Wow, that's service !! They have all been great here at the used car dealer (by the Golden Corral side of S.Lindbergh). My recent service adviser is Micah Gierse, a super friendly young man. He really loves what he does and is so very helpful and friendly. After Micah takes care of your car needs you leave with a smile and feel good about how you were treated. You know how you feel when you get bad service at the restaurant, and it ruins your day after you leave. Well after Micah takes care of you, you go out feeling good about things and the day goes great because the domino affect seems to just work out. Thanks Micah (give this guy a bonus or something) for a job well done. You guys are great !! More
My husband and I do not like the typical sales pitch you find at dealerships. While Gina was certainly a saleswoman, she wasn't over the top. This is the third time we have purchased a car from St. Louis Honda and the third time Mike has been our salesperson. Mike is straight up, honest and couldn't be further from the stereotypical "slick" sal Louis Honda and the third time Mike has been our salesperson. As much as I dislike the process of buying a car, I enjoy interacting with Mike very much. The reason that my experience at Mungenast was so positive is because Craig really seemed to know the product and was extremely knowledgeable about the how everything worked on the product.
