We have currently bought or leased about 6 cars from St. Louis Honda.....I go back quite a number of years. They are by far the best dealer I've ever had the experience to work with. They are honest, do what they say they will do, are always curteious and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable while there. We have worked with Kenny Rauth a number of times because he knows what he's doing, never gives us any BS and has helped us out of a couple of jams. I don't even go to another dealer when it's time to move up to a newer model. I know I should probably shop around but I don't because I trust Kenny and all the staff at St. Louis Honda. And I have recommended and sent other people there over the years because of how they do what they do. Good job guys....keep up your current practices, and I see when you improve your status in the market because I get emails and regular mails of what's going on with your dealership and I like to be kept informed. I didn't want to buy a car, but don't think my review is going to be about Gary convincing me otherwise. I knew I needed to get into a new (to me) car and I've been thinking about it for years (drove my Pi going to be about Gary convincing me otherwise. I knew I needed to get into a new (to me) car and I've been thinking about it for years (drove my Pilot over 7 years, even after being struck by a tornado!). I bought my last 2 cars from a Honda dealer in IL but I had an experience that made me think I should check with the dealers in St Louis too. I got a very reasonable out the door price that was better than the IL dealer. Gary was very patient as I emailed question after question (after question) and he stayed late to accommodate our late working schedule twice. He did not pressure me (or even bother showing me) vehicles I wasn't interested in or try to upsell me into the nicer/larger vehicle to replace the one I already had. While Gary works in the used department, he did work with the new department to make sure I wouldn't be better off with a new car financing deal. Gary was laid-back and easy to get along with, informative and quick to respond. We're due to replace our other car soon too, and we will return to him. So in the end, Gary was stuck with me being a stubborn buyer who asks too many questions, who wanted a good deal without going through a big song & dance that some dealerships put you through and I left not only buying the car ('10 Certified Used CR-V) but happy enough to write this recommendation for it.
