Scheduled an appointment for an oil change online. The first available appointment was almost 4 weeks out. I got a call from the service center to get my vin and asked if there was an earlier appointment available. Receptionist rescheduled me. When I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, there was no record that it had been rescheduled. I ended up waiting 2 hours. While I was waiting I heard several employees talking in a not very professional manner. The technician came out and gave me a price for replacing my battery, which I declined. On the bottom of my receipt in the “recommended not done/ declined services” area it states that “customer states battery dead. Replace battery.” I have never had battery issues and did not state this. All around, not a good experience. More

Warranty, Repair and Customer Services Issues at DAVE WHITE Chevrolet I am extremely disgusted with my experience with Dave White Chevrolet and its Service and Customer Service Departments. Do not e WHITE Chevrolet I am extremely disgusted with my experience with Dave White Chevrolet and its Service and Customer Service Departments. Do not even consider them for service on your GM vehicle. They have installed two "new" GM transmissions in my Corvette; the first failed under normal driving conditions after 1,336 miles. The second transmission that they installed did not function properly according to their diagnoses upon installation. They falsely claimed that the problem was a programming issue in the car and not the transmission. On their recommendation, I had the vehicle transported from Dave White to a specialist shop of their choice for further diagnostics. At this time, the specialist shop verified that the transmission was 100% the cause of the malfunction and required removal and replacement. Dave White now refuses to take any further action to stand by their warranty and replace the faulty transmission. I have now spent over $8,000.00 in repair costs, transportation, and diagnoses with no resolution to the issue. The General Manager, Joe Mahling, and the Service Manager, Robert Whitt, both refuse to take my calls and have instructed their staff not to schedule or accept my car for any further repairs. Even going as far as to refuse my vehicle as it was being transported back to them from the specialist shop that they directed me to have it diagnosed by. I am not finished fighting, but I wanted to warn the public of this situation and advise you to seek other service providers in the Sylvania/Toledo area. More
