Reached to this dealership regarding a vehicle I am interested in on the phone since it is a drive for where I live, and so I can plan if I can look up other cars. Used car manager picks up the phone, interested in on the phone since it is a drive for where I live, and so I can plan if I can look up other cars. Used car manager picks up the phone, says that the car is available with possibly a pending sale, and I asked if I can drive the car and he said he will check. He connected me with a sales agent and I asked the sales agent if I can test drive the car and he said yes. When I was close to the dealership, the sales agent called and told me that I would not be able to drive the car since it is on a lift and the service technician went home for the day with the car key with him. I still went on and the sales agent offered to just look at the car at the shop since I would not be able to drive. We went to the shop and the technician is right there working on the car. I was not able to drive but I was able to look at it, however I was requesting to put the hood down so I can check but they said that I cannot do that for some reason. We went back to the agent’s desk to discuss pricing, and came up with a deal. It took almost a week to pick up the car, but that is not terribly a complete issue, however upon final inspection of the car, there is a crack on the windshield that they did not fix.
