"Excellent customer service "

I have a 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite, that had a strange issue. Sometimes and at total random with no rhythm at all, it wouldn't recognize that the gear stick is in park, therefore, it will not let me lock the vehicle and/or a system start warning indication would pop up and it wouldn't want to start. Since, this would happen at random, it was hard to have the issue reproduce when I would take it to the service department, so there was a little bit of a guessing game. Eventually, I ended going there 3 or 4 times within a 2 week period. Finally the problem got diagnosed right and the repair was done, however due to all the hassle, I was given a very huge discount on the final repair bill. The actual issue was close to $500 to repair but in fact I only paid about $170 and the rest was discounted to make it up for me. I was extremely satisfied with the entire experience and how it was handled. I understand that it's hard to diagnose an electrical issue when you can't reproduce it at the time of diagnosis. Everyone was extremely professional and I truly felt I was in good hands and they were doing everything they can to make the repairs as fast as possible and they were accommodating my situation as much as its humanely possible. Initially my service advisor was Victor Segura and due to a family emergency Victor had to leave for several days, but he made sure to hand over my repair history to Joe Robert. They are both AWESOME. I couldn't have been any happier going anywhere else or dealing with anyone else. They are both extremely knowledgeable and very mindful and caring of the customer. For any future incidents, I will be going back to see them because I know I wouldn't be in any better hands. I recommend David McDavid Honda of Frisco %100. They have gained my full trust for all my service needs. Victor and Joe, thank you very much, along with the mechanic behind the scene and everyone else that was involved in making the situation as smooth as possible. You guys are a great team.

"No service mind and bad quality control"

I was happy to be able to schedule the maintenance within a short time frame. However, Kavin who I selected for a service refuse to come by and got a response for the other guy that he does not have a schedule. He does not seems to have a service mind or does not seems to care. Even if this is the system issue that the schedule did not get update properly but if he has service mind, this should not happen. When I got a car back, the maintenance minder also did not get reset properly. I have to go back and ask the guy who brought me the car to reset it. He try to contact someone to help, but no one seems to care. At the end, he has to open YouTube to get it fix. I am not so sure what kind of service is this.

Tad Hutchison handled our service need efficiently, as he always does, whether our visit is for a regular maintenance check or a repair, as was our last visit for a window that kept sliding down. Tad is always friendly and courteous. He communicated with us quickly and clearly, by text and phone call, after the diagnosis was made. It's always a great experience to have him as our service advisor.

My car has been serviced here since the dealership opened I have watched two of my advisors get promoted and are now managers Tom and Matt are the best and are always there for me I also have been using kelvin for a while and he always looks out for me They are lucky to have these guys on the team It makes it hard as all of my card in the past have come from another dealership where I was taken care of and got what I wanted without all the hassles and games Don't know where my next car will come from I do know who will service it

"Can't fix Brakes"

The service department at McDavid Honda in Frisco tried unsuccessfully to stop the squeak coming from the brakes on my 2014 Honda Pilot. They had the vehicle in their shop for the same thing four different times. They turned the rotors on two of those occasions, bled and changed out the fluid, and changed out pads. after 14 months and 20,000 more miles, I gave up and traded the vehicle in for a Chevy. Obviously the rotors were not up to the task and should have been replaced, not turned in 8000 miles from the last time they were warped
