I had a HORRIBLE experience with David Taylor's sales team. Not only did they fail to tell me the “new” Pacifica Hybrid Limited minivan I wanted to buy was a dealer loaner with 745 miles, (which I expect team. Not only did they fail to tell me the “new” Pacifica Hybrid Limited minivan I wanted to buy was a dealer loaner with 745 miles, (which I expected to have very few test-driven miles and no body damage,) once I drove 2 hours to come buy it, they REMOVED the discount they had promised me in writing (and have advertised on their website) and wanted me to pay full list price, claiming they were giving me the discount “on my trade.” Prior to my arrival, they lowballed my trade. No sweat, Carvana offered me $2,300 more, and I was very clear that I would just sell my van to Carvana if David Taylor wouldn’t match the Carvana price (minus tax savings, to make it 100% fair for both parties.) I had communicated with Timothy Hulsey, and his communication in the week prior was extremely poor. Now I know why, because he was just trying to hide the fact this Pacifica was a program car with 745 miles, essentially a used car, and I noticed a scratch on the driver’s door, when it was already dark, so who knows what other damage might have been on this used van. When my wife and I arrived, the van was pulled up, (it also had a full tank of gas, a sign they were expecting I was going to buy it), but, even though I had called them to tell them I was coming so they could have the van ready, oddly, they couldn’t locate the keys. After waiting 20 minutes, Tim came out and told us we could just test drive one of the other Pacifica Hybrids while they located the keys, since they all drive the same. I declined saying I wanted my wife to drive the car we were buying. After a 40 minute wait, they finally “found the keys.” (in hindsight, this was just more deception on their part, as they hoped we would drive a different van and wouldn't notice the milage on the one we were buying until it was too late). On the test drive is when I noticed the 745 miles. We get back and I ask Tim why this new van would have 745 miles on it, and he explained that it was their service loaner, a “program car.” I asked my wife if she wanted to pick a different color so that we could get a new van, and she said she would rather have that color scheme. So we go in to talk price. I indicate that I would like additional money off for the program car milage, in addition to what we had agreed on previously. Tim comes back and shows me an out-the-door price, with my trade, about $1,250 HIGHER than I expected (with my trade included). WHAT?!? Umm, wrong direction. I reminded Tim that if they couldn’t match the price of Carvana, that I wanted to buy their van without a trade. This the first time he is informing me that if I bought the van with no trade, I wouldn’t receive the $1,250 dealer discount. At this I get up with my wife and we walk out, because not only am I not paying $1,250 more than we agreed, I’m certainly not paying that price on a program car with 745 miles and scratches on the driver’s door. The sales manager, Tim Hulsey’s father, literally comes running out the door to chase us down. He proceeds to inform me that I’m getting “a heck of a deal.” He admitted they really wanted my van. He said that he’s “losing $1500 on this deal.” WOW. Really? Maybe because in your wildest dreams and craftiness you'll sell every one of your Limited Hybrids at $1500 over sticker? He then weakly attempts to inform me how he is giving me “the price quoted online,” which, from his warped perspective, is true, if you choose to ignore the shenanigans with my trade. No wonder David Taylor has multiple Pacifica Hybrid Limiteds in stock, when other dealers don’t, all of which have been sitting on their lot for 4-5 months, that they can’t even sell with all of these incredible Chrysler incentives, if this is how they treat their Pacifica Hybrid customers. Their crystal ball tells them these vehicles will be over list price in the near future. So be prepared to pay up if you want one. Oh, and the Limited Hybrid in Granite Crystal is the dealer loaner, since they will not disclose that to you ahead of time. It is disgusting that the David Taylor sales team had no respect for my wife or I to honor their price quoted ahead of time. The numbers they presented to me were coming in much higher than what we agreed on. When presented with different quotes, initially they had in the line “Dealer Discount: $0” insisting they were putting the $1,250 dealer discount in toward my trade. Later they added $500 in the dealer discount line, but then the Chrysler incentives were reduced from $6,750 to $6,250. What garbage. What disrespect for my wife and I to promise us one thing to lure us out, get us to drive 225 miles round trip, and then not honor that price. What deception. What egotism. What greed. Is this a company you want to do business with? And looking through the other poor reviews you have received, instead of hiring someone to post here and ask me to reach out to you, how about you have the moral integrity to give me a call and apologize? I mean, you really expect the person wronged to have to reach out, and ask for what, exactly? More
Even tho I took the car in with a check engine light on, they still ran the “diagnostic”, which is really only a surface check. Have had my car in twice in the past month, at which time they also did the “d they still ran the “diagnostic”, which is really only a surface check. Have had my car in twice in the past month, at which time they also did the “diagnostic”, even though I told them the problem was with the top raising. Sorry, you folks are are running an unnecessary test just to get $159 to walk in the door. Enough is enough! More
I had an appointment for a standard oil change and tire rotation and still had to wait over one hour for service. And when It was time to pay I was shocked at over price for parts and labor as compared to rotation and still had to wait over one hour for service. I gave a three star rating for one reason. When I had my car in, I got a call from the service guy. He told me that I had two tpms sensors out on the car. He said they’d be $110 each and I said ok, get them car in, I got a call from the service guy. He told me that I had two tpms sensors out on the car. He said they’d be $110 each and I said ok, get them. As soon as I hung up the phone, I found the same sensors on line for $38 each. So three things. 1. I take partial responsibility as I should have said don’t order them until I check online. That’s on me. 2. When I called back and said cancel them, I was told there was a $20 restocking fee on each one. Whoa! That’s too high and I should have been told that when I gave ok to order. 3. The parts mark up is WAY too high. I realize that dealers need to make money. But almost 3x online pricing is way too much. Now the dealer did wave the fee after a balked. So I’ll give them that. But I had to argue and fight. I think I worked w Matt but I cannot say w certainty. And I don’t blame him for this except for better communication needed on restocking fees up front. More
We ended up being very early before our appointment time. We were greeted at the door and that person immediately looked for our salesperson. He called him on the phone to find out he had to run an errand and relayed back to us he would be right back. Only waited five minutes for him to return. Our salesman Rich Phful missed his dinner because we were so early. And he didn’t sell hangry at all... This car was our 19 year old daughters first car purchase and he walked her thru everything. He was great to work with! I will recommend him to all my friends and family! Our finance guy Bobby was great, easy going, no pressure and very patient with all my back and fourth! More

Mechanic and service writer told me i need a whole new g56 transmission and would cost 9 grand. Had two different shops look at it and was diagnosed and fixed as only a 4th gear syncronizer which i alread g56 transmission and would cost 9 grand. Had two different shops look at it and was diagnosed and fixed as only a 4th gear syncronizer which i already knew. Gotta wonder how many people bring their stuff in that dont have any knowledge that you rip off. Glad i paid you 220$ for a diagnosis that was way off. More
