I brought my 13-year-old Cadillac CTS into Davis Chevrolet which was for who I bought it from. The problem that I had was the battery appeared to be discharged the generator was overheating and I su Chevrolet which was for who I bought it from. The problem that I had was the battery appeared to be discharged the generator was overheating and I suspected that the serpentine belt was rather old and dry and I asked her to be replaced. Well on the first try the daily replaced the battery and sent me home for a few days and I brought it back. I had this inch essentially the same symptoms they replaced the generator which was burned up I had also reported that the power steering was not too good and they really needed to replace the serpentine belt. Is there a generator was replaced and I gave it a quick test drive after they told me that to fix the power steering sensor it would cost several thousand dollars. I said let's try it my way which I think is the right one replacing the generator was correct the battery I don't think it was correct there is still some life in the battery. But changing the serpentine belt did solve the power steering problem. So at least I was satisfied that the car was fixed what I was not happy about was I had to insist that the 13-year-old serpentine belt was to be replaced and I stated that specifically. Sometimes the dealer needs to listen to the customer more carefully. More
