I recently moved from Louisville Kentucky and have used a Chevrolet dealership for oil changes outside of Louisville every two months. I made an appointment for oil change with David Gainesville. I dropped the truck off and the oil change was estimated around $100. This is what I generally pay so I had no issue. I received a call from the service department stating the air filter was needing replaced. I asked how much and I heard the service representative say $88 plus of minus. When I picked the truck up the bill was $320. I questioned this and the service rep said she quoted $188.00 for the air filter. I would not have approved this and have never spent this much on an air filter. There was no attempt to resolve the discrepancy or seek management involvement. The rep said the manager would see my comments on the invoice I signed. I will not be returning to Davis Gainesville Chevrolet. The misquote was egregious and no customer dissatisfaction recovery was attempted. I was very disappointed. I paid the $320.00 and left. More
I brought my truck in clean and when I got it back it was dirty and mud all over it. When I questioned this I was informed that the back lot has dirt. My car was delivered to Chevrolet of Gainesville after the battery died and the car was locked. The dealer took care of the car very efficiently and made sure that I could get a loan vehicle. I scheduled my appointment online for an AC diagnosis which I found out when I got there they don’t do diagnosis on Saturdays. At first I was frustrated that the website let me book a diagnosis if they don’t do them on Saturdays, but Sharon Keen told me they had one guy who does diagnosis and he could take a look at it for me. The service was about 2 hours and they were able to fix the issue. I was very grateful for the guy to be able to look and fix my AC, but if there is a way for the website to not let people book a diagnosis appointment on Saturdays that would be awesome. More

Your center overcharged my elderly mother for labor and when we tried to pull out and just pay for diagnostics the service person made us pay $300 additional and buy the part recommended and said it could not be cancelled instead. The service rep accused her of planning to go somewhere cheaper for repair. We had planned to just go over to sales and have her buy another Mazda but after the service experience we took her to another dealership as we can never trust your service again at the Mazda Gainesville dealership. More
