After going there solely to get air in the tires of my 2021 Santa Fe (paid off) with only 51,000 miles. It was a “gotcha” experience, with an all day badgering, and by the end of the day I drove off in 2021 Santa Fe (paid off) with only 51,000 miles. It was a “gotcha” experience, with an all day badgering, and by the end of the day I drove off in a 2026 Tucson with a 3 year lease. Soon after I drove off, it stalled only 5 miles away from the dealership. I immediately called them, and it turns out they sent me, a 76 year old senior, away in a car with an empty gas tank and no general instructions. I didn’t even know how to release the parking brake! Bottom line, I was coerced into this situation, and promptly asked for my 2021 Santa Fe returned to me. They said NO. I’m getting nowhere with them or Hyundai Consumer Affairs. If you are a senior woman like me, NEVER go near this business, especially without a spouse or knowledgeable male who can help you make the best decision possible. They aren’t understanding the seriousness of sending me away with NO GAS, and say it was merely “an oversight”. Thank God it didn’t stall out on I95 as I was driving home to St. Augustine. What an AWFUL day that was for me! More
I just wanted to say I had the best 2 people for sales here, Jimmy Kelley and Shana, they were just awesome, needless to say it was 30 mins before closing and they got me the car I have been wanting and I here, Jimmy Kelley and Shana, they were just awesome, needless to say it was 30 mins before closing and they got me the car I have been wanting and I am so happy. Needless to say we went back and fourth on numbers, but they made me a new happy customer. Thanks Again to you both, you guys are great! Happy New Year! More

They tried to force nearly $4,000 worth of unnecessary add-ons. Things like a medical kit and other overpriced extras I clearly didn’t need. When I pushed back and said I wasn't interested, they became pushy and condescending. I decided to walk away, and as I was leaving, I heard the senior manager mutter, “There was never a deal” behind my back, which was very unprofessional. I ended up leasing the same car from a competitor in Deland with a much better experience. I don’t recommend this dealership to anyone, though based on their current ratings, it seems like I’m not the only one. More
This review is not regarding the salesperson, who was wonderful, but it is in regards to the financing part of the process as it is now June 18 and I purchased a vehicle on May 3 and have been getting de wonderful, but it is in regards to the financing part of the process as it is now June 18 and I purchased a vehicle on May 3 and have been getting denial letters from Hyundai finance to the amount of 18 letters telling me I was declined. I called both the finance company and the dealership to speak to the manager on May 28 and was told that those letters are normal and to ignore then since my load was fully funded. Come to find out on June 17 when I got a call from the finance dept telling me I needed to unfreeze my credit...which I did when I was sitting at the dealership on May 3rd. Oh but they only deal with Equifax and I thawed experian. How the heck was a customer supposed to know that and now 6 weeks later I am still waiting to make my first payment and have lost the opportunity on a refinance option I was waiting to roll this loan into at a much lower rate....and they knew that. All I get is the typical "we are really sorry". Get your act together. Seems you are so busy trying to sell the cars but seriously lack on really closing the deal and you left me with a not so nice feeling about doing business or recommending friends to you with your laissez-faire attitude of the situation you have left me in. Oil change car service is terrible, they dirty the steering wheel, they dirty the car mats, they didn't add any windshield washer fluid, the service office is a mess with documents, there is no inform steering wheel, they dirty the car mats, they didn't add any windshield washer fluid, the service office is a mess with documents, there is no information updated on the computers, no one knows anything, the employees refer customers to other employees. There is broken glass on the service square between parked cars, no one cares. My question is, why is an appointment made if you have to wait 4 hours to change the oil? Not a professional service, kindergarten level, I am curiously that menager reading this reviews, have a good night. More
I called many times for a service appt. ,and all I got was a voice mail. I called back numerous times before someone got on the phone. They finally offered me an appt. 3 1/2 weeks out . All ,and all I got was a voice mail. I called back numerous times before someone got on the phone. They finally offered me an appt. 3 1/2 weeks out . All I needed was the 15,000 mile oil change. I will not do business with them. I will use another dealership. More
I purchased a vehicle from Daytona Hyundai in February 2025. I paid a $2,000 down payment and was told financing had been finalized. After taking delivery, I later discovered that financing had NOT been 2025. I paid a $2,000 down payment and was told financing had been finalized. After taking delivery, I later discovered that financing had NOT been completed as promised. Despite having registered the vehicle in my name through the Florida DMV, Daytona Hyundai failed to notify me that financing had fallen through. Even worse, 60 days after the purchase, they authorized a second hard credit inquiry without my knowledge or consent, damaging my credit. I have filed formal complaints with the Florida Attorney General, the DMV, the CFPB, and the FTC regarding their handling of this transaction. I do not recommend doing business with Daytona Hyundai. Be extremely cautious and double-check every detail yourself. More
I brought my vehicle in for a recall and some small issues, on Thursday, 03/13. I have since been unable to reach the service representative, Carson, despite leaving multiple voicemails. Be absolutely sure you read every single word on every peice of paperwork the ask you to sign. They tell you you have a 30 day warranty on your used vehicle and the there is a problem and they tell peice of paperwork the ask you to sign. The words I would use to describe my experience with Daytona Hyundai are manipulative and strategic. I was told multiple times that Hyundai was paying off my existing car loan. Therefore, I didn't even Daytona Hyundai are manipulative and strategic. I was told multiple times that Hyundai was paying off my existing car loan. Therefore, I didn't even discuss trade in value. My car was in rough shape but I have gotten trade in appraisals varying between $2800-3400. (One of which was from the Daytona Hyundai website, quoting $3372 for "rough shape," which is defined by them as "several mechanical and/or cosmetic problems requiring significant repairs.") Unfortunately, I didn't catch what they did until everything was signed and done. Their way of "paying off" my existing loan was to increase the sticker about $4300. Which, still was more than my existing loan. When I reached out to my sales person, she said that she thinks I got about $500 for my trade in. I expressed how unhappy I was that I really felt like I got taken advantage of and all I got was, basically, sorry for the misunderstanding. I would've never accepted that and it was never discussed. She acted as though my monthly payment was more than originally estimated because of interest rates, but it seems, it's because I'm paying $4300 more for the car than the sticker price. They have me for 3 years but I will never step foot into that dealership again. I've had wonderful experiences with RChill Mitsubishi in DeLand and should've followed my gut but I really wanted a Hyundai Tuscon. Hopefully, I can stop someone from making the same mistake I did.
