I dont know what happened to my review I wrote last week? Here goes Again bc people need to know! The Worst experience of my life. My car was towed to Kia dealership 5/14/20 in Daytona do to recall SC176. Th Here goes Again bc people need to know! The Worst experience of my life. My car was towed to Kia dealership 5/14/20 in Daytona do to recall SC176. They claim no fault codes stored. Want me to pay $239 for diagnostic. They had my car for 5 days, did nothing. I took my car on 5/19 & drove to my reputable mechanic who diagnosed the problem & code P0420 which was Stored. Also cat converter failed, engine block damaged! Metal in oil. Called Kia, who agreed to tow it back to dealership, put new c converter & engine block. 6/3/20 completed. Driving home there was A Smell. I checked fluids, oil was very Overfull. Radiator underfilled. Called Kia. Was recommended to bring back. I declined As I felt service dept was incompetent & "Would Never bring my car back there"! Took it to my mechanic who found leak at oil pan & front timing cover, oil overfilled & radiator coolant low. I agreed to My mechanic to reseal, correct oil fluid. "Priblen originated from cat converter that was replaced by dealer". I PAID my mechanic $575 to reseal oil leaks! Beware! More
Place was very clean. Everyone was very pleasant. Greeted me outside before I got out of my car. They asked if I needed a ride anywhere but I didn’t need it. Was in and out in no time! Rich did his Best to correct the problem But when they don't have A competent Tech to Diagnose A Recall Or A Service Manager to Oversee the final Repair Done properly Then It becomes A Headache & a Trust don't have A competent Tech to Diagnose A Recall Or A Service Manager to Oversee the final Repair Done properly Then It becomes A Headache & a Trust issue, therefore the Overfilled Oil, underfilled radiator & oil leaks do to Not properly Sealed by Tech Has been corrected by My mechanic WHO DIAGNOSED The Recall Issue. I Refuse to bring my Car back to Daytona Kia! More
