I rated this dealership the way I did because they are one of the few I've worked with in the past few years that was actually efficient at negotiating and communicating via e-mail and over the phone. Gi one of the few I've worked with in the past few years that was actually efficient at negotiating and communicating via e-mail and over the phone. Given that we are located in Orlando, we did not want to make the drive to Daytona if we couldn't get the price we wanted. Ash was very efficient, professional and most importantly, he met his deliverables. A lot of times a salesman will make a promise (big or small), because he knows that's what the customer wants to hear. Ash made those promises and not only met them, but exceeded them. One example of Ash going above and beyond was AFTER THE DEAL WAS DONE, when most salesmen would only be concerned about their next sale, Ash drove his own personal vehicle down to the Sunoco dealership where we were told to fill up using the voucher, just to make sure the voucher worked and we had everything we needed. You don't get that kind of service frequently these days - in fact, I would consider it supremely rare. Additionally, while it took a little bit of time for the Finance department to get our paperwork ready, the moment we walked through the door of Serge Nash's office, we knew we were in good hands. Serge is a true professional and is not only good at what he does, but he clearly loves it. I also feel as though, even if the cameras weren't present in his office, he would have done everything the exact same way. He took the time to explain the reasoning behind the interest rate, payment, etc. He gave us recommendations on how to improve scores and get the most benefit out of the transaction. He, like Ash, went above and beyond the call of duty and that is greatly appreciated. Overall, our experience with Daytona Toyota; specifically Ash and his manager Garth, and Serge, was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend Ash and this dealership to my friends and family, and perhaps I will use them again in the future. Please bear in mind, I used to sell Toyotas myself and I have been a Toyota customer for 11 years - owning six total vehicles, three of which were purchased new. I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly - Ash and the others being the "good". Thank you. More
From the beginning Craig was great. I wanted the carfax. He ordered it for me and email with minutes. When I got there the quality of customer service I receive was great. No pressure for me to buy. My experience with this dealership is horrible. I will never return to this place again. I purchased a car from there and I noticed something was wrong from the very start. After months of complaining the never return to this place again. I purchased a car from there and I noticed something was wrong from the very start. After months of complaining they found something wrong that they were unable to fix. They offered to trade it but acted as if I didn't just go through a purchase of a lemon with them. They were charging us through the roof and only offered half the price of their lemon that I received from them. Im in complete shock, especially since I recently purchased a brand new vehicle just months ago. All they want is as much money from you as they can get. I regret ever doing business with them. Deland Toyota isn't far, the prices are cheaper and the people are nice and aren't pushy at all. Id check them first or Orlando, they are a few thousand dollars cheaper than here in Daytona. Good Luck More
We found the vehicle on the internet and traveled 2 hrs to see it. It was everything the internet ad said. We met with Craig Lattz the salesman whom we spoke to on the phone. He was very straightforward ( to see it. It was everything the internet ad said. We met with Craig Lattz the salesman whom we spoke to on the phone. He was very straightforward ( which we like) and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and we were very pleased with our purchase. We would recommend anyone who would like to purchase a toyota to meet with Craig. When we need another Toyota, we will give him a call. More
Recently ,this dealership replaced my dashboard.. MannyCacoilo inspected my car and coordinated withToyota National to have my dashboard replaced. He ordered the new dashboard and notified me when it MannyCacoilo inspected my car and coordinated withToyota National to have my dashboard replaced. He ordered the new dashboard and notified me when it arrived. He told me that Stephen Vento would be my contact point for the actual replacement. Shortly thereafter ,Stephen contacted me and explained the replacement procedure. He then cordinated a mutually acceptable date for the work to be done.Since this procedure was complex and time consuming, Stephen contacted me several times to update me on the progress. The work was completed on time and the work was excellent quality. The car was returned to me with no observable issues and the car was very clean. Throughout this entire process Manny and Stephen were very courteous and informative. I would also like to commend the technician who actually replaced the dash for his committment to quality work .In todays fast paced economy, quality is often an attribute that is overlooked. Great job Daytona Toyota. More
This was a great car buying experience! I've been "had" before and didn't want to talk to a dealer until I knew what I was doing. So I researched cars and dealers for two months. I read articles and "had" before and didn't want to talk to a dealer until I knew what I was doing. So I researched cars and dealers for two months. I read articles and blogs about how the process works--mostly for the dealers--so I wouldn't feel afraid like the last time I bought a new car. Isn't it strange? Buying a car should be exciting and fun and empowering, but more me it's often daunting and patronizing. After my research, I submitted an online request through a 3rd-party site (still trying to avoid a sales pitch). Jeff called right away to ask what I had in mind and scheduled an appointment with Craig. So I went in...wow! Although all the information I learned was helpful to me, I never once felt like I needed to protect myself with it. Craig was so kind and helpful. He never pressured me or used any blatant sales tactics with me. In fact, for every idea he gave me, he assured me he would help me with whichever decision I made. Craig is a tremendously nice guy. I felt confident and excited...and yes, it was even fun! Steve in finance was awesome, too. The whole loan process took less than 10 minutes, including going over all the forms to answer my questions. He never once acted like it was "just a job" to him. Money issues are always unsettling to me, and I especially appreciate his professionalism. My last experience was with Bob. He drove my beautiful new Corolla all the way home for me (25 miles) so I wouldn't have to arrange to have someone come with me to get it on another day. Who wants to wait when you've got a new car waiting to be driven?! Bob was as sweet and down-to-earth as they come. I hope all their drivers are as great as he is. It was a lovely drive back to the dealership. He even went through all the dash features with me again on the way. So THANKS Jeff, Craig, Steve, and Bob. I will tell everyone how great you are. More
BEWARE SENIOR CITIZENS – My 75-year old mother who is disabled and a widow received a flyer in the mail from Daytona Toyota advertising MSRP value for her trade-in. She went in on 4/27 to see about it, disabled and a widow received a flyer in the mail from Daytona Toyota advertising MSRP value for her trade-in. She went in on 4/27 to see about it, 3 hours later she was pressured into a car she cannot afford, a trade-in value that was NOT MSRP, and forced to sign papers she did not understand. My mother will not be able to afford to buy food with the car’s monthly payments. She went back to them the following day to cancel the deal and they said they would not cancel it and there was no 3 day rescinding period. Now the Attorney General’s office is involved along with law enforcement. BEWARE SENIOR CITIZENS. More

Didn't come to agreement on price, but had I not needed a deal to ship a brand new Prius to Vermont, I am sure the numbers would have worked and a deal would have been made. And not for lack of eff needed a deal to ship a brand new Prius to Vermont, I am sure the numbers would have worked and a deal would have been made. And not for lack of effort on their part...reimbursing my airline ticket, paying shipping fees...we're all considerations made to make the sale. I usually don't care for car salesman, and dread having to play the "games". At Daytona Toyota, I didn't get that feeling. Sure, you sit there while the salesman goes back and forth with your counter offers, but here, I do believe they are actually crunching numbers, and not out back having a smoke and laughing behind your back like so many other dealers. I think Toyotya sells themselves, and the staff at Daytona Toyota make the process casual, and stress free. But, 80% of my positive experience must be credited to RYAN PIERCE. He was very accommodating and friendly, I actually feel bad I could'nt buy a car from him. If you are in the market for a new car, I highly recommend Daytona Toyota...and ask for RYAN PIERCE! More
