I came in at 7:05am with no appointment to get my oil changed and to get my horn working again. They offered all the other things to be done ok i fell for that. I was told that it would take a little over an hour. 2 1/2 hours later i left the dealership very frustrated. My service adviser was busy with someone else so asked another service adviser if they could check on my car and stated no i would have to see the original adviser and walked away. He wasn't doing anything. Finally i saw my advisor he said be patient it takes time i'll call back and see how much longer. He couldn't find the technition. After about 15 min. he said it took most of the time to check the wire that went to the horn (what max it could be 3ft. long, come on). Yes, and how much longer? Quoted about a minute he is driving it around now. 20 min. later i go to the cashier to ask for a bill and a manager (to no avail) but she was trying to find my car. She got the bill and i paid it (CASH) so you wouldn't have to wait for your money I'm just waiting for my car. 10 min. later they finally found my keys. Was i told where my car was? NO, I had to ask. I know this will fall on deaf ears but i could have went to Wal-Mart had the oil changed (for less money) they would have NOT moved my seat or the mirror and they would have vacuumed it out in less time than your dealership took. I am happy with my toyota rav4 (my 2nd) thank God i did not buy it from your dealership . My car will never be back there again. In fact i am thinking about getting a Chevy or at least find a dealership that is NOT connected to this one. I am a locally resident and have been all 63yrs of my life you just lost my business. More

Also Steve in finance was very nice and helpful also even though I was dealing with my own credit union. I got a great deal on a great car and am extremely happy. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Monica Lewis at Daytona Toyota. She is prompt and thorough. I told her what I was trading in and gave her the condition of the vehicle along with the book value and trade in amounts I desired along with the finance terms I qualified for and expected. She thanked me for allowing her to serve me and promised she would call me back after running the numbers by management. Within an hour or so she returned my call accepted the terms of my deal and told me she would contact me as soon as my vehicle arrived on the lot. I contaced her on Monday morning Memorial Day and Tuesday evening after work I went and picked up my new Highlander complete with the tow hitch installed as promised. Great dealership and I will never consider buying a new toyota from anyone else except Daytona Toyota. The finance manager was very nice as well. Friendly courteous and professional. I want to start out by saying that I have purchased or leased 4 vehicles through this dealership. The last of the vehicles my X and I had leased, today my X went into trade in his lease and was told by th leased 4 vehicles through this dealership. The last of the vehicles my X and I had leased, today my X went into trade in his lease and was told by the dealership's General Manager Andrew Tabaku to just walk away from the lease and let the bank deal with it. First of all this advice is illegal and send very underhanded. The bank would still come have the lease holders. Second of all as returning customers they were actually telling my X to let the lease go back and that would ruin my credit When I went into talk to Andrew he informed me that it was non of my business even though the vehicle was in my name. If this is how Gib Dannehower treats his return customers it will not be long before they stop coming. I for one will NEVER purchase another vehicle at Daytona Toyota. In fact I have contacted the bank that holds our lease and reported that Daytona Toyota is recommending that people walk away from their vehicles. I am going to write a letter to Toyota asking one simple question of why such a great car wants to have dealerships that are underhanded and practicing illegally. I am going to report them to the every agency state and federal that I can find that will listen to me. With Daytona Toyota giving out this advice they are going to cause the banks more problems, just like the mortgages. Please anyone that has a lease and is taking it to Daytona Toyota if you walk away from the lease like they advice you are still responisble for the remaining balance on the vehicle but yet Daytona Toyota is not responsible for anything and they made their sales. Leaving the customer with 2 car payments and probably going to court or having to file bankruptcy. This is not the first time Daytona Toyota has given out this advice. In fact they gave it to me when I was getting divorced and trying to trade in the vehicles. I told them then I would never purchase another one from them. They are still doing the same practice it is time for someone to stop them. More
