I’ve been putting off purchasing a new vehicle for two reasons: 1-in my prior experience, it’s been a long (hours at the dealership haggling), high pressure experience & I’m just not into all that. 2-I really wanted my dream vehicle but as an accountant, I knew I had to get just the right deal for it to make sense financially. A couple days ago, I expressed interest in a vehicle at Daytona Toyota online and soon after providing my contact info received a text message from Remi, with an introduction and inquiring if I’d like to know more about the vehicle and if I’d like to come in to the dealership. I went to test drive the vehicle on my lunch break and since I had to get back to the office for a meeting and a busy day at work ahead of me, Remi accommodated my situation (my busy day) - after a few emails back and forth we were able to agree upon a deal. I filled out the loan application online so when I got to the dealership after work, it was a pretty quick experience. I arrived around 5 and drove away in my beautiful 4 Runner just about an hour or so later. I was impressed by Remi’s no pressure tactic, laid back personality and willingness to work with me via email and text message. Thanks Remi for making that a pleasant experience and getting me into my dream vehicle! More

Some good, some bad Had the same exact experience as Brenda. First sales guy was great. His name was Richie. I highly recommend him. We had a nice test drive and were interested in pursuing a deal. Then comes in the 2nd guy (manager I'm guessing) who deals with the trade-ins and negotiations. He was very rude and condescending. Instead of telling him off we just got up and left. I mentioned to Richie what a jerk he was to us and that we would be taking our business elsewhere. Feel bad for him because he obviously has to do what the boss tells him to do. However, I've never had that experience at a car dealership. No worries - we were deciding between a couple different cars anyway. It certainly made our decision incredibly easy. Customer service training may be in order though. UPDATE AFTER TOYOTA RESPONSE: While I appreciate the offer from Kevin to reach out to their customer service, I've moved on from the matter and already said exactly what happened. I would like to think that they would want to reach out to me to find out why one of their employees was so rude that it sunk any potential deal. If they are truly interested in finding out more, they can contact the floor salesman (Richie Carlo) since he has all my information, and they can reach out to me at any time. More

He was the one who determined my trade in value. He decided to ignore the sale add which brought me in. The lady I had at the end was great. She was patient & knowledgeable. She helped me to pick the various warranties. Then, before leaving, Remy came & helped me get started with my new car. More

I knew I could have walked away easily after our test drive with him but I wanted the Sienna a lot and I was tired of my car . Remi was so understanding and patient with the kids and myself. It meant a lot to me to be at a dealership where people didn't treat us rudely or condescendingly. We met DJ (a really smart, great manager, but a little pushy lol) and RJ (probably the sweetest financial guy in the industry-just sayin') and Glenn (one super cool guy) and one sale rep who kept joking that I needed a U-Haul to move all my things from my old car into the new one lol Our overall experience was excellent and so much better than I could have ever imagined it could possibly ever be. We are super happy with our CPO Sienna and the amazing patience everyone showed me and my 3 kids (age 3,5,9) was really perfect. Thank you,everyone, but especially Remi. It's not easy, but your helping us get in our new Toyota was a fantastic experience that we won't soon forget. From bag fulls of popcorn, to colorful markers and paper and giant helium balloons you did an amazing job!! Rock on, Daytona Toyota! :) More
Normally, buying a used car can be a bit scarry! I already owned a 2002 Camry, so I was a devoted Toyota customer. But, I had never bought a used car before. Jermaine helped me look though all of the available cars that fit my list of criteria. He wasn't "pushy", and he didn't try to get me to purchase something that I didn't want, or go over my budget. Together, we found a 2015 Camry that I ultimately purchased. It looks and handles just like a brand new car! I'm very happy with my decision to purchase a "used" car! More
