All of the other dealerships we have been to have been trying to skyrocket my interest rate. Delong worker with us to find the right place to finance us with reasonable interest rating. They surprised me by letting me have the car for the weekend and I was sold. I learned how it worked and fell in love without peer pressure. Monday came around and I was eager to sign papers. The service was quick, the questions were patiently answered with detail and care. Woody was a super friendly guy to work with. Overall, I had an excellent time financing my first car. Not your typical dealership I purchased a 2015 Ford Superduty from Delong Ford and it was a painless experience unlike other bend me over dealerships. It was a very pleasant experience dealing with "Woody" in Sales. We pretty much made the deal happen thru emails and phone calls, not the typical BS of "Why don't you come on it and we will talk about it". Figures were given to me via email and that expedited the whole process. Upon walking into Delong Ford it was a small town atmosphere. The dealers weren't all over you like flies on S***. Woody tossed me the keys and let me make my decision for myself. Other dealers Ive dealt with are trying to get you to sign papers while your test driving down the road or the whole "wow this vehicle is definitely you or you will pick up all the chicks with this truck". Finally, signing the papers was a breeze here. Literally took 10-15 min at the most. He had everything all ready for me to sign. Would highly recommend Delong Ford to anyone, actually had my fiancé go there a week later to purchase a SUV from Woody. This dealership saved me from experiencing a headache or high blood pressure. My buying and service experience This all started about 6 months ago. I was in the market for a new dealer to service my 2011 F-150. The present dealer I had just was not cutting it. This all started about 6 months ago. I was in the market for a new dealer to service my 2011 F-150. The present dealer I had just was not cutting it. They just did not make you feel like a family member. Delong ford was recommended by a friend who lives in Dwight. I called Delong Ford asking for the service department. I was given the service manager Matt. He was very polite and told me his department would be glad to have us as a costumers. From that point forward my wife and I have felt like we have been doing business with them for ever. When ever I call its like they have know us for years. Matt always takes the time to cover what they did to the truck and what we may want to consider at our next visit. The mechanics are alway very friendly. The work is always performed in less them than we would expect. I asked Matt about buying a new truck and he put us in contact with Doug and Woody in sales and we now drive a new 2014 F-150 and are very happy. They made the sales process very painless and quick. WASTED 4 HOURS Of OUR TIME Had a deal made with Doug over the phone so we drove 1 1/2 hours to look at this truck. Granted, nice looking truck, it was supposed to have been pu Had a deal made with Doug over the phone so we drove 1 1/2 hours to look at this truck. Granted, nice looking truck, it was supposed to have been purchased from them new AND SERVICED THERE its whole life.( So he told my wife and I).Dealership checked it front to back. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with this truck.". Showed up to drive it and they had our plates off our trade and pushing paperwork at us before we could even drive it. Well anyway, I instantly found a oil leak and the truck reaked of burnt oil, but for some reason no one else could smell it. Then all the sudden Doug swears they had replaced an O ring somewhere on the motor. Yeah right. Should have been in the carfax, right? Well his boss, "Woody" pipes up and says he smelled the burnt oil when he drove it earlier.(remember they told us they had serviced this truck its entire life before we got there), but he couldn't find any repair order on an o ring. All the sudden the story changes, We've only serviced it since it was traded to us.!!! THREE LIES in 30 SECONDS. More
