Recommended service not needed. I took my car in for an oil change ($52.95) and was told that I should also have the transmission flushed ($218.79.. Since I was there I mentioned tha I took my car in for an oil change ($52.95) and was told that I should also have the transmission flushed ($218.79.. Since I was there I mentioned that many times I put my SUV in park and at times it would beep and tell me to place in park. I was told the transmission control needed to be replaced ($559.99). I was also told that my front brakes were in need of being replaced and given a photo showing extreme wear. I asked for an estimate of the front brakes (pads & rotors) and was told $649.00 plus tax. Now I became suspicious of all the work and told the manager I would come back the following week. I then began getting emails urging me to make an appointment to replace the brakes. The following week I took my car to 2 brake service stations and was told I didn't need replacement at that time. I then went to another car dealership where I had purchased a car in the past. I was told that my brake pads still had between 25 to 33% use and the rotors were like new. I was brought out into the shop and shown the actual pads and rotors. I decided to have the pads replaced since my car was up on the lift. My expense was $269.50 plus tax! The trust I had after buying my SUV from you is completely gone. I wonder how a dealership can do business like this and stay in business. More

But at Denooyer Chevrolet, two major positives stand out with my experience. The oil change is straightforward and routine, but the service department did not attempt to upsell me unnecessary work like cabin air filters, new tires, windshield wipers, etc. like a recent experience elsewhere. In fact, the technician checked all the fluids and topped them off. Most importantly, the service advisor Duane St Claire is a complete professional. Polite, conscientious, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. More

Bad experience over coverage of repairs performed I want you to understand. It is not that I have not had good service through DeNooyer, the fact is I have not been treated properly. I have coverage for repairs through CarShield, and because, so I have been told, you have had some problems getting paid by them. This is not my problem. I was told for the past couple of repairs that I have had done were not covered. And in fact they should have been.. I called CarShield and they informed me of such. I do not enjoy saying bad things about anyone but this in no way to treat a customer that has purchased his last 4 trucks from your dealership and always brought them back for repairs and service through you.
