I made an appointment for 9am yesterday (1/20/22). My husband and I both took the day off from work. My car has a special extended coverage for a PCV Valve issue. I told the lady on the phone when I made the appointment that I was driving 1.5 hours (one way) to come for service and would be waiting for my car. I asked if the parts would be in stock to complete this while I waited and I was assured that it would be no problem because they are a large dealership and should be able to take care of this for me. I got to Depaula at 8:55 for my 9am appointment and was told that they had several people drop off their vehicles ahead of me and that they wouldn't get my car in until later this afternoon like 2 or so. What was the point of me making appointment for 9 am if you are just going to let people drop off vehicles and bump the people who made appointments. I explained to the service gentlemen what was discussed on the phone with the lady who made the appointment. Then I was told that it would be over $300 for labor to put this part on. According to the paper I received from GM I shouldn't have had to pay for anything. In the end we had to purchase the part ourselves (which was suppose to be warrantied) and know have to put it on also. Service has gotten really bad at Depaula. This is the first vehicle that I purchased from them and it will be the last if this is how they treat customers who make an appointment for service. More
