My first visit to DePaula Ford gets an A+ Disclaimer - I did not purchase my 2017 F250 from DePaula. I had purchased the truck used from another dealership. When I had an issue with squealing Disclaimer - I did not purchase my 2017 F250 from DePaula. I had purchased the truck used from another dealership. When I had an issue with squealing brakes on the truck with 20,200 miles on it I took it to Mavis who specializes in tires and minor repairs, a place more convenient to my home. Big mistake! Although told the squealing was quite certainly in the rear wheels, they said no, the problem was with the front brake pads and replaced them. One mile from Mavis the squealing continued. After two more trips to Mavis things were no better. I contacted Dennis Walters, service director at DePaula Ford, who I had dealt with for many years at DePaula Chevy for my many Tahoes. Dennis hooked me up with Fran McGivern in the truck service dept. Fran put my truck in the very capable hands of mechanic Howard Petell. Knowledge and experience of this crew paid off. Hand brake was the issue, diagnosed and taken care of in one hour while my wife and I enjoyed coffee and treats in the lounge. Lesson learned! I have been to many dealerships before and will never use anyone else going forward. Best experience I have ever had with a dealership. They didn’t charge outrageous diag fees for things that may have taken minutes to diagnose and made sure they vested time into the actual issues.
