Missed state inspection Had an oil change scheduled with my state inspection due in 6 weeks & there was no notice or check by Del. The receipt has in bold, big red letters, “ Had an oil change scheduled with my state inspection due in 6 weeks & there was no notice or check by Del. The receipt has in bold, big red letters, “YOUR STATE INSPECTION IS DUE” but no one bothered to check it or fill it out. VERY disappointed! I ended up with a ticket & was told it was totally my responsibility to know my inspection date. Why bother having a notice on the receipt if you are not going to check & fill it in? More
