Waited 3 hours for brake pads to be installed I usually have a great experience with the Dell Toyota service department. This last visit I was there for over 3 hours to have brake pads installed.. We just had a baby and I was just returning to work after a lengthy maternity leave, but when a freak flood happened in our area and both our cars were totaled we didn’t have much of a choice! Knowing the salesman that helped us personally wasn’t just what gave us a wonderful experience. The entire time we were there everyone that worked there was just so incredibly friendly and helpful it made us so comfortable and relieved that we could really put our trust in them and that they would take care of us & they truly did! We went in to purchase one car and left with two which goes to show really how helpful and great they were! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! More
Miscommunication over replacing a radio Normally my husband and I have a great experience with the service center here. Our latest visit, however was filled with a lot of miscommunication. M Normally my husband and I have a great experience with the service center here. Our latest visit, however was filled with a lot of miscommunication. My husband scheduled an appointment for an oil change and to replace his radio. The service rep gave my husband a quote, to which my husband agreed. The day of the appointment, however, we dropped off our vehicle and got a call 2 hours later confirming that the radio needed to be replaced and that one could be ordered. My husband explained that he'd already had this conversation when he scheduled the appointment and thought one had already been ordered. The rep then explained that they are not able to order something like a radio without prepayment. So when my husband went back to pick up our vehicle he tried to prepay for the radio and reschedule for installation. The clerk he spoke with this time said prepayment is not required. Overall we were thoroughly confused since we were being told different things from different service reps/clerks. This whole experience, and the need for 2 visits instead of 1, could have been avoided with better communication. More
