I had asked, with painstaking specificity, "I wonder how many miles the car has right now." His response? A falsehood so blatant it borders on absurdity. After enduring a grueling four-hour journey via the nightmare of public transit, I was smacked in the face with the bitter sting of reality—the car's odometer displayed over 40 miles. To add insult to injury, the alignment was hopelessly skewed, the undercarriage was scratched, and the engine bay was also dirty full of rotten leaves— an unprecedented anomaly for a supposedly "brand new."
