Forward collision alert and lane keep assist I am a 100 % disabled veteran who recently purchased a 2017 Lacrosse with these two features because as I am getting older and also having some health I am a 100 % disabled veteran who recently purchased a 2017 Lacrosse with these two features because as I am getting older and also having some health problems I wanted to make myself a safer driver which these features would have afforded me.The FCA (forward collision alert) and the LKA (lane keep assist) don't work. According to the service department, and buick the manufacturer both systems work and instead of admitting or fixing this problem the service department will do nothing because as they say the computer says all is working perfectly. Drive the vehicle and they don't. The FCA does not signal according to the various distance limits that are given on the screen. I can't get an amber until I am within 20 feet of the car in front of me and I am going 50 miles an hour. There is no red and no vibrating seat and only once that amber icon.The service department says the system is working perfectly and the only way to check the system is to crash my vehicle. It is like talking to an empty can. General motors says that whatever the service manager says is true and the car works perfectly. I have this car and have offered it for anyone to drive. If the car is operating to standards there is a lot of fraud going on in my case and there might be a lot of people who might be thinking that this feature in a help matter if it is needed.is vacant. The feature doesn't work in any manner except to show the green icon when there is a vehicle approximately 200 feet in front of you. The service manager never heard of the color amber and and the advent of the vibrating seat. The LKA has never beeped if the vehicle was going out of lane even when the lane icon had turned amber. I guess that feature was also working to spec's of the manufacturer. The fact of the features not working was also noted by the sales team as they also drove the vehicle.. The lack of professionalism is beyond belief as to the way all things have been going on for the last 3 months.The only help that I have received from this organization was nothing as once I got beyond sales it was a non-chalant group of individuals who voiced that it was beyond their scope of responsibility. Organization meaning Buick and the Delray dealership. I invite anyone to drive this lemon of a car that should be a wonderful experience, but knowing that these features don't work takes the happiness right out of the picture. The frustration and anxiety I have receive from this deal has become a nightmare. I think all the vehicles might have to be recalled if my car is normal than all the others might be in a accordance of this norm. Paying for something that might not be there and this so called help not existing. My car should have been fixed and checked by qualified people. If it couldn't be fixed to the spec's it was designed from it should be replaced or what have you. Allan Hallman More
