As with any big purchase, I began with doing my homework on our proposed new purchase and some initial email negotiating with Zach Feller, one of the As with any big purchase, I began with doing my homework on our proposed new purchase and some initial email negotiating with Zach Feller, one of the internet sales consultants. In communicating with Zach, I felt that he was going to be very genuine and respect my time. Thanks to Zach promptness and professionalism during our email correspondence, my family and I decided to visit for a test drive. I was pleasantly surprised that Zach had the specific vehicle we were interested in, a 2019 Odyssey Elite, parked up front and ready for the test drive. We quickly piled in with our 4 kids and headed out. Having done several months of research, reading reviews, blogs and watching YouTube video reviews, I have to say Zach was the first sales consultant (from several of the south Florida dealerships, with whom I was negotiating with at the time), who seemed to know as much and perhaps a little more than me about our perspective purchase. The test drive went very well and negotiations also. There was a tense moment when an old school type of car salesman who I understand was a sales manager came in to seemingly "close the deal." This was highly unnecessary and honestly took away from the completely enjoyable experience afforded to us by Zach who I am convinced was right on track and negotiating in good faith. After we came to an agreement, I feel I got a good deal, not great but fair. My my wife did not want to compromise on the color this time around so my hands were tied. Probably cost us $500-$1000, but I digress. The car was detailed and we took our photo with Zach and headed home with our van. Overall, spent roughly 4 hours (it's OK fellow parent's, they have free hot coco and a kids play room with a flat screen) between paper work, programming several of the van custom settings. Zach even set my wife's favorite XM and FM stations! I will definitely begin my search for our next van in a few years at Delray Beach Honda, just hope Zach is still around! More
